  • 'some kinda rat' baahhhhh hahhahahaha hahhaha love it!

  • looks very messy , it is not suppose to bew like that

  • yeah, usually I am the one with the rat's nest on the head :D it's because I have super super thin hair and it is sooooo difficult to get volume into it. nevertheless, once I've got volume (with the help of those ugly nests), it won't last longer than an hour :(

  • I love the way you say bobby pins.(:

  • i wish you could do my hair in person!!!!!

  • aaahh i was interupted by my "little nuggets":D

  • Looks almost like Peggy Bundy at 9:39!! LOL Thanks for the tips ♥

  • Thanks for explaining how to tease properly, a lot of girls just say "tease your hair" and every time I tried it, it looked horrible on me! Now I know why haha!

  • I love this! :)

  • thanks

  • This is a great video explanation/tutorial! Question...is there a way you suggest to get the "bump" part of the pony a bit smoother w/out losing the poof? For the office I always feel like I need to have very "smooth and polished" hair (I always feel paranoid when I wear my hair natural wavy, like I don't look as professional or something)

  • Thank you for being a great explainer. Love that you also bring up the mistakes that can be made and how to fix them. You are smart and classy. Thanks to you I finally have a cool hairstyle that works for my job that requires I pull my hair back.

  • "Alien head" was great :D Great tutorial by the way :)

  • thank you so much!!! i love the poof ponytail. i have long layers, should i still follow your directions and teeze in the same places you did - leaving my long "bangs" alone to flip over the teased hair or do i tease the long layer of bangs too? also, how can i view more of your tutorials?

  • Love your videos so much!

  • Your videos make my life. I have curly hair naturally so I blow dry it every day when I get out of the shower and it goes crazy and super frizzy, then flat iron it afterwards and try to create hairstyles when that's done. It usually gets flat and silky after doing so, so it's hard to create big hairstyles considering it's been so processed. Any suggestions?

  • Awesome job!! You were very to the point=) Love it!

  • Great Tutorial! You llok like Jessica Simpson!

  • i love your hair color! is that your natural color?? or do you get it dyed? if so what color??

  • it looked betta b4 u made the ponytail 2!!!! <3

  • I need to add that I never used to be that way til I studied all of that

  • I seriously liked you right off the bat when I found your vid randomly, I def ended up watching all of your vids LOL! You are awesome and hilarious! I love it! I have a question! I was going to Cosmo school but after studying about all sorts of skin diseases etc, I got completely freaked out & I am such a germaphobe like to the point I don't want to touch ppl that I think are dirty..sounds awful I know, idk why I get real freaked out like legit anxiety, & not sure how to get over it! Help?!

  • can you do a video to make a poof but wid out teasin

  • its so messy from the back

  • @MizEmoAshley um, yeah its not a ratsnest. its SUPPOSED to be messy. she even says it shouldnt be perfect and i guarantee you that if you look at all the related vids, theyd say the same thing. so maybe get your facts straight next time, hun ;)

  • YES! You're SO great at explaining all that. I like this a lot. My mouth was open and I didn't even notice, I was so into it.

  • This is awesome! Thank you so much! I'm the type who doesn't do much with my hair, but you're so great at explaining what to do that I'm inspired.

  • SUPER helpful!!! Thanx!!!

  • thanks:)

  • thanks :)

  • What kinda hairspray so you use?

  • This video really helped me! Thanks for posting!! :)

  • thank you for the tutorial it help me alot since i have REALLY thin hair. :)

  • just found your videos and i've already watched most of them! probably the most helpful tutorials i've watched, not to mention you're fun and easy to watch! :)

  • Quick question - What hairspray are you using? Redken?

  • 3:11 xD

  • And I thought this would suck..

    Win!<3

  • my hair never seems to hold style. i'd really like to wear this for work. but im afraid it'll fall flat and look stupid. does this stay well? or should i spray the crap out of it and just pray? :)

  • i lo0o0ove your hair (:

  • love the tuturial! you were very informative and now i am not so scared to do my hair.. lol Thanks!

  • YUR HAIR LOOKS LIKE A RAT NEST!LOOK AT MY DEFAULT MY PIC IS ABETA TEase!

  • I just found your tutorials/channel! You absolutely crack me up! I love them!!! Very informative but totally down to earth!!! LOVE IT!!!!

  • You look like Kristen Bell to me.

  • if u talk less..ur toturial will be more interesting xx

  • Great ! i'm going to try it immediately.

  • I gave this video 5 stars because I say rat tooth too hahaha. i thought i was the only one. going to try this tomorrow!

  • thanks so much btw i luv how u talk

  • haha you are funny I like your video tho

  • My hair is quite similar to yours: highlighted, fine, and just below the shoulders.

    My question for you:

How many days a week can I use the curling iron and maintain healthy hair, while using good condioners and a weekly deep conditioner?

    I appreciate your reply!

  • Thanks for putting this up!

  • First, you are really funny...and I mean that in a nice way!! I love your pony...trying it tomorrow...

  • I need you to color my hair. seriously! you obviously are good and what you do and must love it!! I have to wear my hair back for work..(flight attendant) and my pony tail is soooooo boring to me !! I need new ideas on how to keep my hair up...but professional and still interesting to me!! zzzzzzzzzz

  • love you videos! Such great hair tutorials! Where did you go to cometology school? I have been considering goin. Any advice?

  • @kkemper89 Thanks! I just went to a local cosmetology school. Definitely do your research before you pick a school. Good luck!

  • Ahaha !!! Sooooo many qirls at my school have the

"alien head" hair ! Most of them dont even brush it down

all the way & you can see riqht throuqh the biq clump

of hair !!! xD Your hair is qorqeous !

  • is it best to do it with unwashed hair?

  • @TinkRStar05 Yes, it would be the easiest on unwashed hair.

  • thanks for doing this video...its more clearer instructions then other videos..btw ur so pretty

  • quick question...I have long mostly one length hair. Ive tried to do a small bump in the front with my bangs, but it splits in the middle???any suggestions??

  • amazing video, very descriptive (: i'm going to try this on my hair in the morning

  • do u have to use a comb like can u use any brush

  • My hair's really silky so when i tried this, it didn't come out as 'poofy' and then after a while, it just flattened out.. Any suggestions?

  • @nashluvjb I would suggest using some kind of root lifter when your hair is wet before you dry it, that will help dry out the roots which will make it easier to tease and hold the tease. If you have longer layers on top then your hair will be heavier which will make the achieving the "poof" much more difficult. I would suggest backcombing the heck out of the crown of you head, spray it really well, and then push it up with your hand and secure it with bobby pins. Good luck!

  • @LolaMarie7 Ok, so i tried what you told me and i just wanna say THANK YOU ! It actually worked. My ponytail's poofy and it doesn't flatten out. Thanks a lot, i absolutely LOVE your videos and suggestions. :)

P.S. My top layers are really long and i wanna have a haircut where i have short layers like yours but my hairdresser always messes it up. What should i exactly say to her ? I'm asking alot of questions, aren't I? Sorry, i just want my hair to come out exactly as i want. Thanks..

  • @nashluvjb what you need to do is before you tease your hair, hairspray the section for a good hold :). Works everytime. Good luck!

  • I love how you actually explain everything and give tips. It really helps me understand it! Some people just do it and they're done. Awesome job!! :)

  • that was an inspiring vid i am gonna go to my bathroom right now and try it!! thanx

  • you remind me of angel porrino from holly's world!

    (compliment)

    <3

  • you remind me of Angel from Hollys World. hahaha.

    but thank youu!

  • LOL Little nugget intruder - how cute!

  • u sud get scene hair :D <3

  • What an excellent instruction on the "ponytail bump". Makes it so that ANYONE can do it (even me, with my short layers). I was starting to get overwhelmed by too many layers when I first watched it, but it all made sense and was a lot easier than I thought. Kudos to the girl who posted this!!! :o)

  • Omg i just love your makeup in t his video could you please tell me what you use?

  • i LOVED this video. • this is exactly what I was looking for! I was trying to do a Serena Vanderwoodsen pony tail from Gossip Girl and didn't know how they did it. This is really close! So excited, gotta go get a comb like that.

  • I love this tutorial! My hair is very long, so it doesn't really work for this, but I am planning on getting about 6 inches off next time I cut it, and this will most likely be my new hairstyle! Thanks!! :)

  • i love your hair style its really pretty

  • i never tryed this before but when i try other bumps it never works even if they say it works for long hair ( medium long) and when i try this i hope it will work (plz do)

  • I absolutely luuuv ur hair :)

  • can the bump go down?

  • omg i love it, i could.. do it but not that perfect...now i can thanx sooooo much!

  • that was very fun to watch. nice job & nice video Hugs!

  • i love how you actually show us a mistake , for example bump it out too much. it helps a lot rather than explaining we can actually see how to fix it (:

  • Too cute!! Thanks so much for all the great info. I can't wait to head out to the store and buy a comb so I can attempt my "poofy pony". I love, love your explanation and examples of "when it goes wrong/fixits". Please continue posting!!!

  • Hi!! Where did you get that teasing comb you have???? PLEASE RESPOND!

  • @tellewilli try sallys or target if you go to the beauty supply you will get them VERY cheap:)

  • lol wat did u say after the intruder came in?? u spoke so fast. hahah

  • hahhahaha "ratted down."

  • ive been wanting to know how to do this for like, the longest time. thanks so much :)

  • I think I cant pull this off, but I can try. My hair is very heavy. Put thanks a lot. From Estonia

  • Good luck!

  • can u explain what kind of haircut you have? i really like it, but don't know how to explain it to my hairdresser.

    thanks!

  • Sure, I have lots of layers that frame my face. My shortest layers start around my mouth. I have shorter layers in the crown for fullness. I have a full side swept bang with a deep part. By full I mean my bangs start farther back on my head than normal. I cut them with a razor so they are very textured (not blunt). The shortest peices of my bangs start around the bottom of my eye! I hope that helps!

  • that looks really good.

my hair is really long, but i have a few layers.

    i hope it works.

ive always tried it with bumpits, but this looks so much easier.

    thank you(:

    & youre veryy pretty.

  • Thank you so much!! Ugh, I hate bump its! I think it is so much easier to tease!

  • Cute little nugget :) x

  • Thank you :)

  • That was a really good tutorial!

Looks pretty easy...im going to try it :)

  • Thanks!! It is pretty easy!

  • I think I am gonna try this out tomorrow! Thanks so much! You're a doll!

  • oh good! Let me know how it goes!!

  • I attempted.. My hair is pretty long. So I think it will go better once I get more texture in my hair. Other than that you did a great job on the steps and helped make it easy! Thanks again!

  • Oh, ya the longer your top layers are the harder it will be to get volume!

I'm glad you attempted it though!! :)

  • Drew Barrymore* haha

  • I love how before it's pulled into a pony it looks like how Drew Barrymoore has been wearing her hair to awards show. LOVE IT. Your tutorials are the best! =)

  • Oh you're right she has been having some big teased out hair lately!! Thank you!!

  • That is such a cute style. I love how these haristyles are coming back. These were in styles around 35 years ago. Does anyone remember that?

  • Thank you!!

  • Love you hair tuts <3
