  • too fast for the beginning, to slow for the Vivace, and too fast for the intro to Tempo Giusto-vivace.

  • BRAVISSIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • idk why but this is the best i've ever heard of this song

  • too fast

  • tarda un chingo en cargar

  • i bet he's asian

  • D:

  • 2.24 left hand !! Monstrueux ! AWESOOOOOOOME

  • wow...so energic! i like it! hahaha. Perfecto!! :D

  • hows about a tutorial please!?

  • thats like amazing im jealous too lol

  • impresionante

  • Incredible talent! Feel privileged!!

  • 7th grade and you could play this difficult song ?!

    that's fucking awesome!

  • You skipped a major part and your not putting enough into it. The octaves played at 0:55 are not in legato, I feel no connection. You skipped a few notes and the trial at 1:05 is incomplete, the notes doesn't sound symmetrical - you should practise it reeeeally slow if you want to perfect it.

Fuck this, I just read it was posted in 2006.

  • awesome :) How long do you play the piano? please let me know :D

  • ruined....

  • shoes? wth is that?!

  • WOW!!! And I thought I could play the piano... You're amazing!! I totally love your skills!!

  • You ruined the piece man. I couldnt listen to it more than 2 minutes.

  • @forfreedomofmankind What frigin idiot you sound like. Go change your diaper.

  • Fun to watch you play this! Thanks.

  • awesome maybe your piano skills will help you buy a pair of shoes for those socks hahah just kidding! ;)

  • Good Job and you have some nice pair of socks, haha just kidding.

  • Wonderful Job!

  • 2:03 DANM! oh...speeds fingers :-O

  • Increíble!!! felicidades!

  • I really like the way you organized this piece, you made it a lot easier than it really is and it still sounds simular! And don't listen to those bad responces, if they can't injoy this, I would like to hear what they can play, i bet 99% can't even back their word up. keep playing!

  • I'm sorry, didn't enjoy it at all.

  • Probably the best non-professional performance I've seen on Youtube. Well done...

  • klip sound is low

  • LOL so many stumbles. I was laughing through the whole video.

  • The triads beginning in 1:50, you should really do with at least two fingers if you want to reach greater speed (like 2-3-2 ...), you won't be able to play it fast with just one finger tapping up and down that same note.

    overall its nice.

  • Is this a U3 Piano?

  • a few mistakes... but it's fantastic:D

  • in looney tunes - (bugs bunny) was better :D

  • ive been playing piano for almost a year and im really too lazy or too busy to practice. i cant really play like that in another 2 years or 4 lol

  • the first scale is bad xD

    try to practice more

    but youre good xD

  • @GuidoTodoCab This video is one of his first....4 years ago...watch his more recent ones

  • WHERES THE VODKA?

  • @7JDH7NL7 hahaha im about to sip on that!

  • this is the best song ever

  • you are a genius

  • clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap #LOL

  • omg....don't you know how to play repetitions?!? not with 1111 etc. normally you play that part starting from 2:01 with 5121 not 5111.

  • I think you should do a 2010 redo of this song.

  • How long did it take you to learn this song and master it

  • Woah.

  • favorite part starts at 1:30

  • Thank you from Hungay!!!!

  • I'm jealous !

  • Back in the 1950s I had 45 RPM record in which Daffy Duck put words to this music. I think the song was called "I'm daffy".

  • omg god like!!

  • this is amazing!! :D i....i feel like dancing *dances* im a big fan of your piano skills! :D

  • fingerings!!! u shouldnt use the same finger for repeat notes!!

  • I have no idea how you survived from 2:22 - 2:34 T_T

  • ill by it for now

  • Dude - that was awesome!

  • wow nice work!!

now work on the details XD

    4/5

  • I am hungarian, and the meaning of the "Liszt" is "flour" :D

  • =/ 3/5 ..

You make a lot of mistakes man and its not the completely version.

  • Sorry but 3/5.. Its not the completely version and you make a lot of mistakes man =/

  • Let him play it how he wants to. It's his own interpretation...adds originality!

  • Its not his own interpretation. It's his limit. He can't play faster even if he wanted to.

You know what an interpreation means? You interpret it the way you think the composer thought it was meant to sound like, not make your own complete composition out it. If Fransz Liszt says that part should've been played lively than that's how you play it. Ofcourse there will be slight alterations in speed, but never THIS slow.

  • I admire your effort but your technique is horribly wrong. At 2:02 you should be hitting that constant C# with your 1,2 and 1 finger. Not just your thumb

  • @OrigamiPaper :- Not necessarily, as long as the performer finds that easier and comfortable to play like that (and the music still sounds good) than it's perfectly okay. Technique isn't finger positions, technique is hand and arm movement, fingering is how one may find a piece more comfortable to play. just watch 3 different versions of the same piece, and note the differece in fingering, yet they all sound good.

  • Nice try but no. If you practiced the piece you would know that part isn't supposed to be played like that. The speed at which the song was meant to play can never be attained with that technique. The you can only hit that C fast and make the octaves by switching from thumb to index finger and back to thumb.

Ofcourse there is some truth in your post and for a lot of parts its true what you say, but not in this part of this song.

  • @OrigamiPaper - I have practised the Piece. I can play the entire Lassan and part of the Friska. I completely see where you're coming from, but if this Pianist finds this comfortable than that's fine. But I totally see where you're coming from :) I play the bit the way you described. I do agree with what you're saying.

  • @losinggrip1993

The same constant C# starts from 1:45 where you also need to change fingers or else you can never hit it rapidly with your same finger. It is possible but you would strain and damage your muscles thus not the way to play it.

  • damn bro.... you are one heck of a piano player

  • you sped it up in the middle of the peice

  • me likey

  • Comment removed

  • buddy why don't you read the info....it CLEARLY states that, " though I learned it 2 years ago in 7th grade. I only play excerpts from it."

  • Ive read the description about you can play it som uch better now... But my comment to this time and video is

You have much to work on : D - ( Not that I can play this )

You need alot more feeling in the beginning ! : )

  • and theres a video of him playing this blind folded!!! i wish i could play as well as you

  • Dude I said this two years ago when I first saw this and I'll say it now. This is awesome. I spend about two hours today and got the first two pages of the18 in the piece...and damn it takes major practice

  • love the song and i can't belive you did it double time. This song is ment to take over 9 minutes to play, NOT 4!!!!

  • " I only play excerpts from it " he went and cut the song down in half thats why

  • O.o

    WD

  • Tom and Jerry! ftw!

  • it's really great 0.0

  • Complimenti! Sei bravissimo!

  • It was nice but those repeated notes you played are supposed to be double octaves aren't they?

  • best of the best.like in tom and gerry;))))

  • Comment removed

  • That song is so fast that one cannot see the detail of the play.

  • do you think i could play this on an 88key wiegted key casio?

  • I remember this song from my childhood. Thanks for posting, and very nicely done.

  • Wow! This is really amazing! You are very talented! I Hope Oneday with lots more practice I'm able to play this song..Thanks!

  • Have you learned the whole thing yet?

  • I cant belive it :O You play this :O

  • he still is...

  • Greetings from Hungary! hallottam már jobb előadásban is de nem rossz

  • hahaha

  • great success. but i think you miss some parts at beginning. listen horowitz or especially jorge.

  • or he can read the partiture and try to express what the original composer wants to show and not just only listen to some famous interpreter.

The style in performances are what make us unique. Please dont encourage to imitate the interpreter, never the less, encourage to interpret the composer.

  • ...u mean he was dead? :O

  • can u only play this on a grand piano?

  • make a tutorial asshole

  • LMAO love it....way to get him on your side dude!! LOL, shit I haven't laughed so hard in ages!! that was good!!!

  • lol thanks

  • Much better than the Tom&Jerry version X)

I really love your Piano Skills!

  • You, Sir, are an inspiration!

  • Oh my GOD! You're Amazing!

  • ummm, your repeated notes wll be easier if you use more than 1 finger

  • Awesome job!!!!!!! That's a lot better than I can play.

Just a suggestion: When you play octaves, keep a loose wrist. It REALLY helps...trust me.

  • ojala yo pudiera tocar un cuarto de lo que vos tocas me encanta esta cancion es mi sueño poder aprenderla

  • i just know the simplified version :(

    awesome!

you made me drool! :P hehehe

  • What gijondani said was " I think you're very brave to touch this piece of Liszt, but rather have you interpreted in a strange way of listening. I do not think this is the best I've heard so much and killed the piece Velica ... Pity, but it is my opinion."

    > swap

  • I'd like to learn that, but I've learnt to play piano since December 2008, so it's still too difficult for me :(

But I REALLY WANT to play that!!! It is so beautiful...

  • This song sounds really good on violin too ^^

  • Somebaddy give this guy a nice ice cream, he plays soo good!!! :)

  • Hát láttam már jobbat, de azért nem rosz!

    Minden elismerésem...

  • wo0o0w asom!!!

  • somebody make a tutorial!

  • Pienso que eres muy valiente al tocar tal pieza de Liszt, es más, la has interpretado de un modo extraño de escuchar. No creo que esta sea la mejor que he escuchado y tanta velicidad mata la pieza... Lástima, pero es mi opinión.

  • You skipped the best part of the whole composition , which is right in the middle like at 5 min...... its well played but at the last 4:45-4:50 i think , it was totally off tempo not even close I would work on that :) overall you scored 8/10 thats a Low A high B and I think thats awesome for such a hard composition.

  • OMFG :-|.. I am gonna commit suicide, i suck at playing piano

  • fantastica! tu es muy talentoso!

  • It feels good you plays this song 'cause I'm a Hungarian. You're such a great talent, but I'm sure you know that, so I don't want to kiss your ... Keep up and make more more and more videos

  • You are very tallented my friend!

    Excellent!

  • Woooooo!!!! Kick ass man! I liked the angle this was filmed at and getting to see your hands so well. I like this shortened version. Very nice work!

  • this piece was used in a lot of kids movies.

  • its very good i like it very much

  • i love this piece! Well done its a really good attempt! Keep practicing and listen to the experts playing it and try out their techniques and soon you will be even better.

  • hungarian!! yeah!! i'm hungarian too :)

-.- but i have never heared this song... -.-'

  • I really what all this people have comment your mistakes, they're little nerd what just can play, if they could, fur elise. I Think they are ladys...¬¬

I liked your version of this song. 5 stars

  • sht was gonna call you a nerd but ur not it takes some real tallent to do what you do so congratz & i hope you win tallent show

  • And next time, wear some shoes... :P

  • At 1:45, when you start banging the C#, you need to alternate between 4-3-2-1 fingers to get a crisper break between each note.

  • and at 2:03, when you're going back and forth between the C#s, instead of mashing the C# with your thumb, alternate between thumb and forefinger. It feels better, and that's how it's suggested in the sheet music i have. Keep on playin, though, you sound great.

  • can you post a tutorial please?

  • hahahaha!!

  • o yea and nice played man

  • wow dude u clear do NOT have the eyes or brains to appreciate other people playing the piano. first of all he said he only plays EXCERPTS from this piece. or maybe u cant understand english perhaps? second, look at u scrub. u aint got no videos so stop talking shit

  • and dont listen to this faggot. hes just hating cuz he cant play the piano like u

  • YOU GOT BURNED! HAHA!

  • RESPECT!!!!!

  • teach me !!!

  • I love this

  • my favourite classical piece

  • AHHAHA hes wearing his socks!!!!

  • ahhaahahahhaha you cracked me up :D:D:D

  • practice makes perfect XD

  • i suggest better fingering for the intro part to the friska, saves a lot of stamina for the rest of the friska. but whatever floats ur boat is just fine too.

  • Constructive criticism; Slow it down and practice with a metronome. When you play the first capricciosamente in the second movement (Friska) its not the same finger hitting the note, its 3 2 1 4 3 2 1 3 2 1 3 2 1, ect., and when you hit the poco a poco accelerando the fingering is 5 1 2 1, not 5 1 1 1. The fingering changes will help when you increase the speed.

  • Oh, and, for the love of God, curl your fingers!

  • Good comment!! Ixion7 only try to help him to improve his performance.

  • what's the point playing with a metronome? i know it keeps you in time but that way you can't express your emotions through it

  • hey hey! let's keep it clean and at least somewhat kind, shall we?!

  • Deary me... alarm bells are ringing... good attempt :)

  • good its a hard piece and you are not quite fast enough on the repeated c sharps, and too fast on the main theme

  • 1:33 almost sounded like u was playing tetris

  • haha oh my gosh it does !! but this sounds just great though :)

  • 2:43 it kinda sounded like an alarm clock

    goo job

  • wow how long have u been playing? im learning that song to, and i've been playin 4 two years only. how long do u think it took u to learn that?

  • 2.42 WTF is that? Crazy playing. LOVE IT. Keep it up!!!

  • Awesome!

  • There is an easier fingering the section where it taps lower C#- C#- C#- higher C#. Instead of just using the thumb, my book says you can do fingers 1-2-1 and then pinky finger for the next octave C# in that order. It can be done much faster that way.

  • NIce job man, just very fast

  • haha...tat's wat i m looking for!! nice job.... i like the way u compile the piece....hehe...hey for the repeatitive note is amazing tat u use ur thumb to play it!!

  • Very nice!!, although I little bit too fast for my ear, but beautiful nonetheless. 5 stars
