@bmass22 Chris is a great song writer. But @thugninja is right. The guitar players from FSF blow Chris out of the water. Its not even comparable. Either you don't play guitar or you've never seen either of those guys play.

no hatin or anything...but for me..jason gleason was the best singer in this band...it fits perfectly...and i agree that chris sings this very good...but when its acoustic not a band...it sounds his solo project "dashboard confessional"...covering this song

@rastakim16333 the song does not change because a band performs it on the same instrument just amplified differently (electric vs acoustic guitar). each singer of FSF brought something different to FSF for sure but the material they wrote with chris is a lot different from the stuff with jason. jason's stuff was heavier. i'm more of a fan of chris because of his vocals and lyrics. not bashing your opinion on the singers. but i don't think this sounds like dashboard at all.

@thricex05 you know why chris carraba left fsf right?..i agree with you that each singer brought different style and taste to fsf...i was just saying that Jason was the perfect singer for this band..more heavier and he fits perfectly in the band but not relationship wise though...one factor too thats why also jason left without a notice...for me, as long it is acoustic..its dashboard confessional covering this song........i saw chris last year and keeps me wondering why he played some fsf songs

i like "the moon is down" and "how to start a fire" both but for different things about it.

also dashboard confessional is chris carraba and he wrote most of the songs for "the moon is down",

so i don't know how that is a cover. if anything jason singing songs off "the moon is down" is more of a cover than the original person singing the song.

in any case, i am excited to see them with chris and hope they release some new material soon.
