@joszamora1 Yes, but TM moves such as Rock Smash are invalid and must be untaught to be able to migrate them, but you can just re-teach them to the Pokemon you are migrating, also levels, ribbons, etc... all stay the same.

@jeilman93 Actually there is a way now. You can buy a supercard dsTWO (make sure it's two) which can emulate GBA games perfectly. Now you can either download the DS and GBA Pokemon games you want and start all over or dump the games to your comptuer (look up on Google "how to dump ds/gba game"). Once you have the DS and GBA games and savs on the supercard, you can rename the GBA files to "name.nds.gba" and "name.nds.gba.sav." Congratulations, now you can migrate all your Pokemon on a DSi :)

I've put both a copy of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Soul Silver into my DS Lite. When I go to the main menu, I can't find the migrate from option. Am I doing something wrong? Can someone help me? In Soul Silver I just started the game and have 3 badges. In Ruby I have 8 badges, but I haven't beaten the elite 4 yet. Does that have anything to do with it? Also, I don't have the national pokedex in my Ruby game. Does that matter?

@TheNannersaur In Heart Gold or Soul Silver, you will need to have beaten the Elite 4, and gotten to Kanto, from there on you can just travel to Fuchsia City, which should be pretty close to the center of the Kanto map.

Nope, when your migrate your Pokémons from Leaf Green to Heart Gold they will only be avaible at Heart Gold after you catched them at Pal Park. They'll dissapear from Leaf Green and you can't send them back either.

So basically when you transfer them to Soul Silver/Heart gold you go to pal park, enter the contest and retrieve your pokemon in a sort of fun yet utterly time wasting way. Upon leaving you get to chose wether you want to keep them and obviously you chose to place them in storage.

Please note you will not need to get rid of your current party pokemon in soul silver before anyone asks or even says party pokemon? I mean the six pokemon you chose to battle with.

They will then appear one by one you catch them all, automatically leave the Pal park catching area then you can chose to place the migrated pokemon in your storeage box/computer.

Get six pokemon in your party the ones you want to migrate, then migrate them. If you go to the pal park in fuschia city you can enter that contest to catch pokemon, you then go about wandering the grasslands/water/mountain range depending on your actual party pokemon.
