Can you get a sound similar to the fuzz face from the fuzz channel on the crazy horse?

What are the similarities and differences in this as a fuzz pedal to the Devi Ever Torn's Peaker? Besides the obvious fact that the Crazy Horse has MUCH more versatility. I am stuck on what to get for a cheap amp emulation fuzz tone.

Andy, you know your way around some AMAZING riffs. I love Powderfinger, Welfare Mothers, Hey Hey My My, and this unit really NAILS that wonderful thick, grungy and primeval sound Neil gets from his little amp. Rust Never Sleeps, god this pedal is perfect! Wish I had the cash.

Does anyone know if this pedal would make a good overdrive boost for a mesa express's "burn" (distorted lead) channel? I would just use it to add some articulation and smoothness to the mesa's distortion.

I bought one this week !! It's just what I wanted, through my 72 Princeton Reverb I'm in

Neil land.. It enables me to play in my small studio and get and nice crunch with out the

wife banging on the door.

When she's out the 59 Deluxe Tweed is cranked with my NY Rep. LP, complete with Fire Bird who need a pedal ;))

I recommend this pedal, prefer it to the Power

Screamer I also own.

They should've just kept it a fuzz pedal, the overdrive is too modern sounding. Sounds like a 90's punk band distortion.

I think the point was more to have it be blendable with the fuzz, to give it something that a lot of fuzz pedals lack.
