I am obsessed with pjo, so I really wanted to watch the movie. The movie was good if it wasn't based on a book. Why? If you compared it to the book, it is completely messed up. They're twenty by the time the last olmpian is out! And no clarisse, ares, they even left out the scorpion thing! I know movies aren't supposed to be exact, but the biggest thing was the age. And no oracle? But I'm still paying 7 bucks for the sea of monsters...I'm so weird...

Grover is black. Not being Racist or anything its just he is WHITE in the book with curly hair!!! Annabeth has BLONDE hair and GREY eyes. The hydra is in BOOK TWO they SKIPPED Mr. D, Ares, Clairess. Mrs. jackson is a young attractive lady not an old ugly one! AND WHAT HAPPENED TO KRONOS?!??!?! The whole series is about him yet they skip him!!!! I hate this movie. I wanna reboot with the correct things

The movie was awesome but the age of the cast was ridiculous really, I mean cmon Percy is 12 in the book where as Logan Lerman is like 19 and that was a major fault but its still a great movie

@ssmorales1 I have to say that Alexandrea Daddario can't act. I didn''t like her preformance. Anna Sohpia Robb would be a better fit for Annabeth. She's a really great actress and probably can act tough. Doesn't matter what you are in real life, as long as you can portry a character well (as Alexandrea didn't) then they're fine. But that's my opinion against another :)
Connor and travis stoll werent in the movie. Ares and clarrisse werent in it. I dont remember demeter(which is persephones mom who is not the same skin colour).And luke doesnt have is scar. But thats all i figured missed from the movie. Still loved it though

I'm sorry to the people who liked it... but the movie was quite horrible. I did not follow the book at all (the book is the best sseries ever written), the lines were kind of cheesy, and the acting was pretty bad. Especially Alexandrea Daddario would played Annabeth. I didn't like it. And whooever did, please don't get mad at me... but yeah, it wasn't the best. Logan Lerman is hot though and it was pretty funny, but other then that.... yeah....

@teresifour They can't make a movie that plays for between 4-8 hours they have a budget. And a movie based on a book always have difference.

if u quizzed me u will see. and yeah the movie was awesome in some ways, i loved the lotus casino part but it's parts like percy making the toilets explode that bugs me. when I 1st heard there wad a movie, i was SO looking forward to that &, what happened? it wasn't in it! same thing with Thalia's tree. very important part & they cut it off they changed it too much :(

The movie was awesome but the age of the cast was ridiculous really, I mean cmon Percy is 12 in the book where as Logan Lerman is like 19 and that was a major fault but its still a great movie

I think Anna Sophia Robb wouldn`t fit the personality (she is to nice) of Annabeth but Alexexandra Daddario fit the part really well! if you think I am right or wrong thumbs up or thumbs down me!

@ssmorales1 I have to say that Alexandrea Daddario can't act. I didn''t like her preformance. Anna Sohpia Robb would be a better fit for Annabeth. She's a really great actress and probably can act tough. Doesn't matter what you are in real life, as long as you can portry a character well (as Alexandrea didn't) then they're fine. But that's my opinion against another :)

Connor and travis stoll werent in the movie. Ares and clarrisse werent in it. I dont remember demeter(which is persephones mom who is not the same skin colour).And luke doesnt have is scar. But thats all i figured missed from the movie. Still loved it though

it was an alright movie, based on the movie. but compared to the book they left out sooo much and added things that werent even in the book. i watched the movie then started to read the series and the series is a million times better.

I'm sorry to the people who liked it... but the movie was quite horrible. I did not follow the book at all (the book is the best sseries ever written), the lines were kind of cheesy, and the acting was pretty bad. Especially Alexandrea Daddario would played Annabeth. I didn't like it. And whooever did, please don't get mad at me... but yeah, it wasn't the best. Logan Lerman is hot though and it was pretty funny, but other then that.... yeah....

@AnnabethChase17 i totally agree. i was kind of outraged when i watched the movie and found out that annabeth was a brunette and not a blonde like the book (not that i have anything against brunettes, but at least she could have dyed her hair), and the whole plot was changed. like the stupid quest to find the three pearls instead of traveling to hollywood and meeting ares and stuff...
the only good thing was that logan lerman was CUTE!!!! :O

No. They did not talk about her in the 1st book. Remember: Percy was even more frightened to go up the Hades because Persephone usually had a way to calm him down, but she wasn't there.
