Wow, i recently started picking as a hobbist, and picked up a few cheaper locks and this exact lock from a hardware store, no wonder i was unable to open this one lol. are there any locks with mushroom or spool safeguards that can either be easily taken apart or see-thru or maybe even an easier one to pick so i can further understand how the pin works and feels?
I would recommend getting a cut away lock , they usually have some for sale on Ebay if not I might be able to sell you one, another thing i would recommend is to continue to pick the locks that you already can, this will help you get used to what setting the pins feels like and will generally attune your senses to picking locks, once you've mastered SPP'ing the lock do it again by raking or vice versa.
hehe i recently picked this exact lock, :') took around the same amount of time :') i feel better now, other then the fact im down 40 bucks lol :")
