@austinknight13 ha! No it's not, seeing that I'm the performer, I think I know that it is in fact the recital.

@mormika most of the audience were also musicians and they know how distracting it can be to sit so close to the performer in an intimate setting. Also, you get a better effect in a music performance sitting farther back. The sound needs to travel...like in an orchestra concert, sitting in the front row you would hear a lot of the strings and less of the winds and brass. Sitting farther back you get a better balance between the flute and piano.
