Fallout is a series of RP games, yes we know. BUT! That doesn't mean every single game in the series has to be. Obviously the developers want to attract shooter lovers too. I'm a fan of Fallout myself, but I've never played BoS and only seen a few gameplay videos. In my opinion, the game looks quite good for a shooter with little RP.

I'm a big fan of the Fallout series (just replayed Fallout 1 & 2 again) and I'm also a fan of BoS. Probably because I take the game for what it is & what the developers always claimed it to be, a combat oriented tactical game with very minor RPG elements in the Fallout universe and not a Fallout RPG (something Fallout purists seem to have a hard time understanding). After playing through Fallout 1 & 2, I find playing BoS like taking a well deserved break.
