I do not see the gilded sword as the one in the Hero's shade's hand, the lower blade of the reverse of the gilded sword and the guard if wrong. The most recent Zelda game is now Skyward Sword. Which happens to be a prequel to Ocarina of Time. So Skyward Sword comes first in the story. This is just a theory but this is going to be where that war starts. Because Gannondorf/Gannon does not exist in Skyward Sword until the end when Ghirahim awakens him. Its centuries later so it makes sense for things to look so different.

Well, this makes perfect sense. And Skyward Sword is at the very beginning of the timeline, just before the unification war. I don't yet know exactly how the plot of Skyward sword plays out (and no-one tell me please), but there may be some event at the end leading to anarchy, thus resulting in war, but ending in unification, and of course, Link's mother is injured in it, and link is brought before the Deku Tree.

Yes you are correct. If you did not beat the game please do not proceed reading this because it may contain spoilers. The Link in this game was the first Link to be picked by the Gods as the chosen hero.That is why in other Zelda games they say the chosen hero wears the color "green" because that is the color that Link received in Skyward Sword after he won the Wing Ceremony. He also restored the Master Sword to its full power which will be used by other Links throughout the generations.
@Infernapeblaze66 After you finish off the final boss, Demise, he says an incarnation of him will continue to hunt down Link's upcoming lives,so he must of been referring to Gannondorf. Link then placed the Mater Sword in the pedestal in which the Ocarina of Time Link would later pull out after some generations.

I believe this is all correct and I think Skyward Sword is before ocarina because it describes how the master sword is made. He goes around and when Link defeats certain areas, he puts his sword in what I think are called "Goddesses Flames". These Flames are supposed to burn off the swords impurities and give it more power. Well, this makes perfect sense. And Skyward Sword is at the very beginning of the timeline, just before the unification war. I don't yet know exactly how the plot of Skyward sword plays out (and no-one tell me please), but there may be some event at the end leading to anarchy, thus resulting in war, but ending in unification, and of course, Link's mother is injured in it, and link is brought before the Deku Tree.
Also, who's to say that link didn't meet up with some girl in between games?

Yes you are correct. If you did not beat the game please do not proceed reading this because it may contain spoilers. The Link in this game was the first Link to be picked by the Gods as the chosen hero.That is why in other Zelda games they say the chosen hero wears the color "green" because that is the color that Link received in Skyward Sword after he won the Wing Ceremony. He also restored the Master Sword to its full power which will be used by other Links throughout the generations.

Link then placed the Mater Sword in the pedestal in which the Ocarina of Time Link would later pull out after some generations.

one of the things i disagree with (amazing timeline, by the way) is that (of course, it didn't come out yet) is that skyward sword was first. he receives the tunic, his sword, his shields, and his mission in that. it also seems that it was soon after the goddesses intervened and rose skyloft to the sky. the teacher man stalfos thing i believe to be his father, for he says, "farewell, my son," after you learn the last hidden skill. and somee of the games go backwards from there on out BRAN FLAKES

I believe this is all correct and I think Skyward Sword is before ocarina because it describes how the master sword is made. He goes around and when Link defeats certain areas, he puts his sword in what I think are called "Goddesses Flames". These Flames are supposed to burn off the swords impurities and give it more power.
