The Forgotten Native American WW II Hero Ira Hayes,instead people are always focusing on the Navajo Code Talkers.Have nothing against the Navajo Code Talkers,because I am Navajo.He went onto Iwo Jima held the part of the flag pole even though his Marine Corps buddies were white.Somewhere in the Arizona desert,there is grave that nobody(probably) ever vistis.He lived in a time when Native Americans were spit upon and never had any rights.The state of Arizona took all Native American water rights.

Ira Hayes was a Tohono of the Desert. His family resides in Sacaton, Arizona. He didn't have to join the fight durng WW II; however, it was in the blood and a fight is a fight. For this Marine that is parrt Ononogada, Iroqouis, I'll not forget his best efforts.
