That made me upset since I was looking to play it so bad, so I have a chance to get an Alienware, I know you may say "Get a custom pc much better cheaper" but honestly its difficult and id rather just get an Alienware, anyways please say if these specs will work: 8 gigs of ram, I7 intel (quad or duel) dore processor, GTX 580 1.5 gigs graphics card. so will it? thanks.

Of course this alienware will work - even perfectly in high details. I'm always composing PCs by myself, and it's cheaper, but if you want fast gaming machine with guarantee, alienware surely will do ;)

i think it will work. in my opinion u need 3gb ram . maybe your graphic card isnt good enough but with low settings u can play it. i can only guess so.

I've got X4 9950 & ATi 4850 - GTA runs on medium detail and 70% view distance... loosing textures is probably caused by poor conversion from ps3..

it will run the game on any setting you want, however your video card will be holding you back quite a bit, why do you have such a good processor and such a bad video card (it's good enough, just not really a gaming card).

go pick up a 4830-4850 or maybe a gtx260 core 216 if you can, you'll notice 40-50% increase in performance on games.

Yes, U can run GTA, but playing it will be a nightmare :P

you will struggle because of your CPU (processor) being only a single core, you need a dual core or even a quad core for this game, GTAIV uses up to 4 Cores (Quad) almost 80% of the time. also your video card, the geforce 6200, is AGP, which means you will not be able to run the game very clearly, you will notice very bad performance, and even with settings turned down very very low, you will only get 20 fps at most. I don't recommend you getting GTAIV, instead put the money towards a new PC.

im going to buy a ps3 in a few months i think, i hate playing games in pc. you have to look at the requerimirnts, installed, sometimes you have to played on low quality. i prefer to buy a ps3 (that i been especting for so much time!) and play with the maximun quality without plroblems. i like your video! 5/5

i get what your saying, hence why i bought a 60gb ps3 on it's release so many years ago, in the long run you'll love your PS3, but you will only have about 6 games you really even gave any thought...

i was a resistance fall of man professional for 5 weeks, top on the leaderboards online... so i can say honestly the PS3 has a few goodies

according to my history im a console gamer, but i've always preferred PC gaming, the sheer thrill of being behind a gaming keyboard and a gaming mouse

oh and forgot to mention, your PC isn't a gaming PC, it never was... it's too slow and only has 1 core, compare that to an X360's triple core... so you're already behind, then add in the lack of a proper gaming video card (you use AGP, you kinda need PCI-E).

granted the ps3 is good... i just think for like $400 + 4-5 $60 games you could manage a nice gaming PC.

your choice, basically unlimited number of games or like 600 the PS3 has.
