  • How did you learn this?! I want to do this too.

  • @Mackan272 I had been working off and on to come up with this, and then one day the idea just came to me. So I built this little demo model, and was so happy that it worked! The knoledge comes with practice and time, I have been building with Knex since I was about seven years old, and I have been studing clocks for about seven years. Whatever you want to do just google it to see how it works, and go from there. I know you can do it too!

  • ingenius...

  • @MyCrazyItalian Thanks, I came up with the idea one night after a month of trying to come up with something that could run on its own and control an hour hand for a clock. Now this runs on a disk with twelve equally spaced notches on it, to control the hour hand.

  • This is just another train of gears for a clock to operate, it is for special functions for a clock. Like a striking train or chime train. It is meant to be put into a Knex clock, I did not know what to call it.

  • an escapement is required :P
