maybe DF is giving a chance to charice to make it on her own...and not just sing revivals of his songs forever...DF already introduced and acknowledged her talent to the world and thats a big step forward for charice....now it's time to explore the world...huge thanks to david foster...and good luck to charice!
one cannot blame david foster for keeping charice on a string. he has made alot of money especially on the asian tours. yes charice has been slow to penetrate u.s market and that has been through discrimination no doubt. i see taylor swift demi lovato selena gomez get all the accolades and have just a small fraction of her talent. the mainstream music critics are slow to recognize her talent

But until now DF still continue to use Charice in his tour and anywhere, They found Charice although she help her kept Charice wings to grow, still She earn a lot of money out of Charice. But David Foster is not only thingking of business as usual. He cares about the Artist to grow. Thats make him legendary.
It's just a matter of time and Charice really has to be separated with DF, charice can't just sing Whitney Medley her whole life, just like Bubble, Celine, Josh and many more, they have to be separated with him for them to pursue their career, i must admit, DF's contribution so far is beyond anyone can ever imagine, charice is so lucky to have him as a mentor... She should always treasure all she learned from DF.
Another factor to look at is WMG's support of Charice. I mean if Acuvue didn't come along, Charice would have had only 1 measly video of Pyramid. I mean since Pyramid WMG has not produced another MV for Charice and not even Louder. Come on, we all know that for an artist to succeed they also need to put out more music videos. Where's the Louder MV ?? We're still waiting for it!
Without DF, she wouldn't have been able to perform with Celine, Bocelli, and for Mohammad Ali, and other huge celebrities. And she is Asian which makes it a big hurdle for her to succeed in the western music industry. But I do agree it is great she gets to work with new young producers who will guide her in the right direction. She needs to survive in this industry and that can be possible only if she becomes a mainstream artist. And being with the older generation isn't gonna help!
My guess only temporary separation cause Charice is still very young. She and her management want to target the young audiences where she is truly belong, But when she gets matured, there´s no doubt she´ll be coming back to the genre she is used to where she becomes famous for. David Foster will always be there making advice and suggestion to her and her management. Reminding all of you that David Foster and Oprah are Charices godmother and godfather.

I am not her manager so I can only say my two cents. I never want to hurt her chances for anything, but she has to be made public all the time in the news on tv on yahoo news,AOL news. Everything she does should be known. Where she will be and when. Put her out there. Talk to people. Many people don't know who she is.
