  • SWEEEET... One of the guys at work still has one of these... with the 305 6... This thing sounds absolutely GREAT...

I have a 65 Chevy C20 that has a Gm Goodwrench 350... But to have one of these 305's would be awesome... Glad its turning out good for you and that it brings you happiness...Happy New Year man

  • She's a beaut' ! Neat seeing them old odd motored trucks running.

  • My dad bought me a truck just like this and it still runs like a champ... Oh and yes they last forever, mine has 400k miles and everything is still original and looking great, gonna give it to my kid when ever I'm done with her

  • Very nice truck. The '65s were especially good looking.

  • You bought yourself a fine truck brother. Thanks for posting.

  • stuff back then was built to last, and easy to work on. unlike all the cheap shit thats made today, thats why i like to stick with the older trucks.

  • Thats General motors for you!!!!

  • You got a great deal.

  • mine looks just like this except new

  • Good luck wearing it out. . .They run a long long time. . .

you got it that engine was designed to pull 750 bushel grain truck's a 1/2 ton 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck ain't nothing for the engine to pull around. . .

My truck start's just like that tap of the key just a quick click and its idling. . .

    AMX

  • Bulletproof engine

  • just picked up a 61 gmc same engine 2 days ago doesent run but its close

  • shes got some noisey valves! but still is awsome!

  • Yes, the reason they stopped making them was because GMC lost money from them not needing any servicing...that's the truth, BTW. They're pretty much indestructable...the largest displacement was a 478 cid V6 (gasoline).

  • that is unless you count the 702 twin six

  • Ahhh yes, teh mighty balaur, i want one so bad, it isnt funny.

  • @yermyahu You are right on that brother. My 2012 MAXXFORCE ADVANCED EGR DIESEL spends more time at THE SHOP than at THE JOB. I do like all these OLDER TRUCKS with GASOLINE ENGINES for POWER. OLDER TRUCKS RULE!!!!

  • very nice looking for one that year myself.
