agreed. I'm from Kentucky. My people know what real cornbread dressing is. It's best when it's simple. My mama makes the best cornbread dressing ever and she doesn't use no crazy shit like crasins or apples or even a RED onion? No self respecting southerner would put a red onion in dressing. Sweet onions are best! I'm disappointed at most of the cornbread dressing recipes I've come across on Youtube.
