Green Lantern can do practically anything, but Thor can higher his power to incommensurable heights, depending on the opponent. In a certain sense, HE's will-powered, too. It's rather difficult to say, maybe Hal Jordan willpower won't decease by withstanding Thor's might, or maybe yes. I'll go with Thor cause he's used to fight and save the Universe alone, while GL does it alongside with others (there is an entire corp of GL, but not every of them is invincible). Anyway, it's hard.

I love Thor and Green Lantern is my favorite hero but Thor would win in the end. Thor has too much exprience and strength. The Green Lantern Core uses a lot of team tactics whereas Thor a lot of the time has to take on the strongest villian in a team situation or is by himself. But I would still say that a Green Lantern would have a better chance against Thor than Superman.
While i love green lantern and have complete faith in his abilities, he would be a little over his head if he were to face thor
Lets face it, thor is a god with basically unmatched abilities such as strength and speed, whereas either of the lanterns (im just going to go with Hal jordan) probably dont have the raw willpower to take on a god of thor's statue
yeah one of mjolnirs lesser known powers is to absorb massive amounts of energy and turn it against whoever. thor did it to like an atomic bomb or something once. the ring will eventually run out of juice and boom, thor wins! GL has to recite the GL code to rejuice (and even then thor would just suck up its energy again)
There' probably only be one Green Lantern capable of beating Thor and that's Sodam Yat, the Daxamite with under a yellow sun powers identical to superman but he is vulnerable to lead sooo.... idk

@christian37772 Disagree. Thors hammer can penetrate a lot of things. If paralax was able to penetrade some of green lanterns constructs then Thor would really cause serious damage to green lantern. Hal Jordan or not. Thor is brutal in fights. Every single one of thors blows devestates. Green Lantern can't create something like Moljnir. So far I've seen him create a few cool machines, but moljnir has odins power in it. I stronly doubt he can replicate that. Thor would curbstomp GL

Hal couldn't copy Motherbox technology and his constructs can break from foes with overwhelming powers like Captain Marvel & Superman.
One god blast later and green lantern is either done or is hurt like hell. Then again, Thor probably (dunno about that though won't even need to use a god blast for GL. Don't get me wrong, Green Lantern is pretty powerful but still. Now if it was Green Lantern Alan Scott from the JSA then that will be one great fight to see. But i do believe the other green lanterns will give Thor one hell of a fight.
For those who said GL couldn't defeat Thor because he is a god, Darkseid is a god and GL has defeated him. And besides, GL technically couldn't die, if the one wearing the ring died, the ring would find someone else and the fight would continue.
