  • I can't wait for Orla's new CD, and I miss her with Celtic Woman!

  • @612Matthew The cd comes out in March this year.

  • @Lizfan2 Thank you! I look forward to the PBS special, too!

  • Orla has a new cd out but I don't know when it will be available in stores. It is available online at her website.

  • I do hope she will be back to CW immediately along with Meav to resurrect the original CW.

  • I respect Orla Fallon. She did not cheat her way to fame ever since she left Celtic Woman to become a soloist. She is very talented, and unlike some of the other members of Celtic Woman, she can sing live. Orla has such a unique voice.

  • @365367368 I'm very curious as to which Celtic Woman soloist you consider as NOT being able to perform 'live'? Every lady in CW performs live night after night and I've never been dissapointed in their performances...

  • @365367368 Orla was a famous singer & harp player before she became a member of Celtic Woman.

  • Beautiful voice she has, her personality is wonderful too.

    Love Orla...

  • OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! This is so beautiful!

  • I know She was singing this song for Ireland, but for Me this song will always be for America.

  • @Nightshift10000 :D this song is different for everyone, for you it's America, for Orla it's Ireland, for others it's their homeland. this song has such a deep meening to it and it can be interpreted several different ways but one way is always for certain, that your homeland, or even the homelands of your parents, or grandparents as in my case as well as my own, holds a most special place in your heart and you can always look to it for insperation and strength. my land is Italy, Poland and USA

  • just beautiful!

  • @rayjoes11: Ahh, the same. I love her to bits. How about you? Do you love her like I do? Ah isn't she so sweet in all that she does? She makes my heart. She all on her own could melt a heart of true stone.

  • ...1:43 To 2:18 Beautiful...

  • "buy", I mean.

  • Out of all the soloists of Celtic Woman, I always had a crush on her. I wish I could date her, despite that I'm ten years younger than her. Age is just a number to me. I'm sure she's married anyway, and I'm happy for her, so it's still good. I'm gonna but your new album soon Orla.

  • NY, I'm right there with you, although I'm ten years OLDER than her.

  • brendan wrote this song specially for orla gentle voice.

  • amazing!!!

I really miss you not being in Celtic Woman...

  • Wow has been and will be my favorite. Her voice is literally the most beautiful voice ever!!

  • I got her cd & this song is on it. The song is extended on the cd & you can hear her over the orchestra. I love it!

  • Can anyone post the lyrics?

  • Went to your green valleys Someday Ill return When you lay your mantel around me At rest I will be where the heart will not yearn Then my land will ever surround me For you are the song ever singing in me And you are the heart ever true For you are my land and you always will be The voice ever calling me home to you For you are the song ever singing in me And you are the heart ever true For you are my land and you always will be The voice ever calling me home to you.. (2x)
  • Thank you!

  • God I miss Orla so much.

Im glad she is singing again! :)

  • Orlagh is such a truly gracious, kind gentle soul...it's been a privelege for me personally to see her perform, and it's been a joy to even get to know her a little bit offstage. You are indeed fantastic as always, Orlagh!!! --Christopher

  • The voice of an angel and a truly lovely lady. We miss her in Celtic Woman, but wish her the best as a solo.

  • Wow! orlgah!.. Beautiful song.. I miss you in Celtic Woman but as a Solo singer you're amazing!.. Congratulations

  • Not only her voice is stunning, but the music accompaniement is also great! Unbelievable...

  • This is incredibly beautiful! I can't wait until her new CD comes out!

  • Her new cd comes out September 22, 2009. She's terrific here, although I think she should sing a little louder. She sounds like she's being drowned out by the orchestra.

  • @TheSingingSweater This song is on Jim Brickman's new CD.

  • awwh what a star!!!

    You're so radiant on stage!

    Beautiful, as always, Miss Orlagh!!

  • I can't believe I didn't discover this before. This is so awesome! Orla, you're great

  • As a great fan of both Secret Garden and Celtic Woman (my two favorite groups!), I have come to appreciate both Órla's singing and the Rølf Lovland-Brendan Graham "creative juices". So of course I was most delighted with this song!!! My only regret is that Órla omitted the first stanza, otherwise it would have been perfect.

  • Love you Órla ! I hope this new song will be included on your new album...I love it !
