Yes, Dark Knight was good, but there are some really amazing scenes in other films that no one's thought of. Sure, Heath Ledger gave a legendary performance, but it's not the end-all most amazing movie ever made. Film is a kaleidoscope of amazing scenes, and there are some good "undiscovered" ones, so to speak.
Im not gonna say "Hey Brandon" or anything cause i dont know you, but yeah. Anyway, in order to stop the most popular movies from getting in on everything, why dont you make a list yourself of 20 good movie scenes, which range from cult status to movie's everyones seen, then get us to vote on THOSE particular scenes, things that you've chosen, just pick the scenes wisely.
Also, the "request a re-enactment" is by far (in my mind) the best thing you've got going for you, it shows flexibility.
Man... forget the "Pencil Scene" They just want to see you take on Ledger's Joker. I'd have loved to have seen you do Batman/Joker's monologue at the end of the movie. THAT is the true greatest scene, regardless of how popular the little pencil trick is to everyone else.
I must say that it's kinda strange that these are the first re-enactments that will require either heavy heavy makeup or a full on mask. Odd. I guess he'll get to work on his voice acting at least.
The Dark Knight is such a great movie, but it's a shame it became so overrated so fast. Great movie, great story, great writing. But the people saying "BEST MOVIE EVER!! BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!" just bring the movie down.
The Glengarry scene is the only one on there worth recreating, everyone that voted for the rest of that stuff should be ashamed. Dark knight is an amazing movie but you're asking this guy to recreate it using only himself and these scenes just won't be interesting when redone in this fashion. And everyone who voted V for Vendetta is an idiot.
I'm sure all five will be well worth watching, but I am also one of the ones who feel that two scenes from The Dark Knight will be redundant (the two Pulp Fictions were also because of allowing outside influence a voice, right?). Good luck with these, and I am glad to see that you are looking at some of the other suggestions for the future. I originally suggested Rounders, but if that has no chance, let me also support Miller's Crossing. I bet your V will be transcendant!
I can't fucking wait! The scenes you reenact are incredible, Dark knight may have an advantage for being a high grossing film over the summer but the Interrogation scene is one Nerds like myself have been waiting forever for ages! XD!

hey just a suggestion for possible future re-enactments I went and saw Burn After Reading and I thought you could have alot of fun doing the very end where the 2 CIA guys are talking where one asks "so what did we learn" and they're both like "...WTF...?"
I know I am going to get lots of thumbs down for this, but it's ok. I'm getting sick of the fact that he makes videos that only serve the purpose of saying what he plans on doing. Just make reenactments, you don't need to make videos saying you plan on making reenactments!

There is a TON of more scenes Brandon can do, like the "the pen is blue" scene from "Liar Liar", the scene in which Rupert threatens Sean in "The Rules of Attraction", the elevator conversation from "Crank", the counsil of Elrond in "LotR" and the opening of "The Godfather", but these are good, too. Unfortunately, I haven't seen #5.
I wish Brandon would stick to quality movies HE enjoys. I'm sure he'll do great on these, but what makes the re-enactments so good is that he has quality taste in movies.

Well, I have to say, even though you are apprehensive about the Dark Knight scenes, because of their popularity and the fact that many others have done re-enactments of them already, honestly, I haven't seen those, and have no interest. As far as I am concerned, there is only one worthy re-enactor in all of youtube, and I can't wait to see your interpretation. This is a great list, imho. Color me exited.

Haven't seen the movie, I thought it looked a bit limited when there were two Dark Knight suggestions tho. I believe Brandon is awesome at hardcore dialogue scenes.

I know I am going to get lots of thumbs down for this, but it's ok. I'm getting sick of the fact that he makes videos that only serve the purpose of saying what he plans on doing. Just make reenactments, you don't need to make videos saying you plan on making reenactments!

There is a TON of more scenes Brandon can do, like the "the pen is blue" scene from "Liar Liar", the scene in which Rupert threatens Sean in "The Rules of Attraction", the elevator conversation from "Crank", the counsil of Elrond in "LotR" and the opening of "The Godfather", but these are good, too. Unfortunately, I haven't seen #5.

I wish Brandon would stick to quality movies HE enjoys. I'm sure he'll do great on these, but what makes the re-enactments so good is that he has quality taste in movies.

Well, I have to say, even though you are apprehensive about the Dark Knight scenes, because of their popularity and the fact that many others have done re-enactments of them already, honestly, I haven't seen those, and have no interest. As far as I am concerned, there is only one worthy re-enactor in all of youtube, and I can't wait to see your interpretation. This is a great list, imho. Color me exited.
