I believe the writers are trying to convey that even though Sam is no longer with Jason, but she loved him. Still does to because she knows how badly he wants to be a dad and is trying to make her see that Liz set him up. He was protecting Sam in a way, but wouldn't claiming her child as his own put her in danger? By his standards it would be ok to put Lila in danger, but not Jake....

Oh please Sam, "the lairs club" give me a break. Did she not tell Sonny that Jason was the father of her Baby and Sonny and Jason got in a fight over that and then Jason lied to Courtney and told Courtney that he was the father of Sam's baby. Did everyone forget this.

You are right, however, Sam DID go along with this Idea? Was he not trying to protect Sam because she was pregnant? He took care of her and it was not even his child, but Jake is his child. Why does Sam think that he would do anything less to try to protect Liz and his baby? I don't think that Sam really understood Jason. He is in jail, on trial for murder if Jake paternity comes out he would not be able to protect anybody.This is no longer Sam's concern she broke up with Jason, now go away Sam.

If my sources are right: She never told Sonny that. Sonny knew the whole time that he was the real father. Sonny, Sam, and Jason decided to let Jason be the father. When they fought they were putting up a front for Carly.

They were lying to someone then,(Courtney), it does not matter why. So Sam can cut the "Lair's Club" senario. I don't think that Jsason and Liz should be lying but they are trying to do what they feel is best for their child, it is no longer Sam's business.I like Sam and I like Liz and Jason, but right I an not happy with the way things are going with any of them.
