..interesting watching this months later after so much has happened! It is as if you with your energy did create much of the magic necessary for the transition of power.
Obama,has till 1-20-09,to be sworn in,and already,already we are getting benefits,from him.Starting,with hope,and now poetry prose,poems,and other things,from people who were like paralyzed,from greatness,because of the living nightmare,of right-wing rule.
Great poem!!! I certainly think it can stand alone without the little gimmick at the end... "This message was approved by Barrack Obama" I'm not too big on commercializm or for that matter any "izms"
Great video, great poem too. When I heard about it I was expecting a failure, though a failure from Ainsley Burroughs would still be a glorious one. But it works, perhaps because the imagery is personal, surreal and skewed. It brings another visceral layer of reality down onto something that is already a cliche. In short, with all the overload and overhype that precedes a US election, this kind of poem should fail. But this one doesn't.
