Hey, I recently got a replacement 3gs, which arrived with 3.1.2 firmware. Upon jailbreaking itunes pushed the 3.1.3 firmware through which locked the jailbreak out. If i downgrade to 3.1.2 will i be able to jailbreak it. even though its an MC model??.. Thanks

I was try about 30 time to downgrade untill the Iphone did stuck and the itunes error: an unknown error occurre(1015). Iphone stuck at DFU mode. Download Quickpwn2 run that. And now I iphone is 3.1.2, run blackrain, phone is jialbraked. hahahahaha

I'VE FOUND THE WAY TO DOWNDRADE TOUCH 2G (MC086) TO 3.1.2!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not a fake, I swear!

Firstly you need to download the 3.0 firmware (yes, 3.0!) and try to restore to it by holding Shift (or "option") and chosing 3.0 ipsw. Do not boot your device in DFU before that!!! You will catch a failure, its normal. But your device will come in Recovery Mode and you won't be able to turn it on in normal mode. (continue in next post..)
