Thanks Bernard, I didn't get to see him, and if I'm honest there was only some of John's stuff I liked, and I actually learned very little indeed. But when he was goood he was brilliant. Thanks for taking time out to listen. Cheers.... MIke
@buniluvr Thanks Julie, very nice of you to say, I guess we all try to please, so its nice when you get positive feedback like this, and yes I'm very pleased to have the collection, and just in case your wondering, yes they all get played.
This sounds really good on the dreadnought Mike, sounded bloody 'grand' .Tasty picking going off here. [Yeh Kevs right, I prefer his 'wellknown' acoustic/ac-electric period BTWeather to One World, but I do luv some early stuff and older stuff anall. I think the stuff on stormbringer marked the 'change' ..but he got great atmosphere on songs like this.LIkewise Beverley, and generally all that late 60s, McTell, Harper and all of em..summet special]. Good'un Mike. Nathen, whizmi Guinness&Vodka?
Cheers Ian. I wanted to get a better sound, and video to replace the other version I have, and was obviously happier with this new one, and its set up, which I will use for future recordings. Thanks for the continued support and encouragement, I really appreciate it. Cheers.... Mike
beautiful rendition Mike....that guitar sounds bloody good... This is my favourite JM period ... I,m sure Ian would disagree but for me he was at his best .....
Thanks Kev, and I'm with you, I prefferred his earlier stuff more. Nice to know the guitar sounds okay where you are, I'm always concerned it looses something in the downloading, which I think it did, but pleased it sounds okay to you. Cheers.... Mike ps: do we need a name for our trio?
@mvo5720 Erm...I dunt think Kev knows abart our plans fer' touring . We'd best tell him like...I thought we could start off wi Bridlington Spa...mebbe work us way up ter Rotherham working mens club...Since you two are both retired and Im on mi way (given haklf a chance)...how abart 'Unwilling to work' (akin to JMs last album)..-Ian
@mvo5720 Well,we could start an Ozzy tour here, see how it goes, Sydney Opera House and stuff...then graduate to Bridlington, North Shields, Hull.... :-) ..-Ian
I'm up for it, and I've let Kev know about it all now. Will we be okay for getting a work visa, and through your now world famous customs, and passport controls. (Two programmes per night now on Sky here, showing Aussie control at Sidney, and Melbourne International Airport's.
A very fine version, I like very much your voice . Thank you Mike.

Sounds a great idea, but will they understand me down there, or more to the point will I understand them when they tell me "get off".
