@doomdoomdoo no b/c they only have like 5 def so they can be killed just as easily as they can kill id say generals are the best class because only magic can really hurt them and if they have barrier or pure water then there resistance is about 10 - 13 so the mage cant kill a general without dieing him/herself XD

@doomdoomdoo ive never had a mage with def any higher than 10 without a stat booster and actually any one can attack from close or far (except for archers) depending on the weapon. dont get me wrong they are probly the 2nd best class just because almost nothing can escape the brute strenght of a General and anything with pure water has a really good chance against a mage and there HP count is something to be desired.

@pandalord66 well,wen u beet the game the file reads "Epilouge" and u cannot access characters from it, however, u can use those characters and adjust their stats with powerups if u go to the "squads" and "new" and use the teem, so yes they stay but u cannot use the file any longer in the story o and btw... my FC is 0560-2160-6842

@ikcjjtt so from the main menu, you slect Extras, then Nintendo WFC(wifi connection) and since you are new to wifi, you will select wifibattle then squads and you will make your team. Hit New and select the file that your good units are in and you will be allowed a maximum of 5 people to a team. Once your team is complete you will press B and you select play anyone and you will be connected to another player and battle them.

on chapter 24 y get a staff named the aum staff and a character named elice only she could use it and by then Cain would do 0 damage and get1 hit by everything so i suggest u restart if u want hin back cause he owns

jagen is terrible, he's useful in the early game but in the long run his stats are inferior to the first paladins you get. he never levels up and when he does it doesnt get a good boost

Heh. True. When I made Abel a Bishop in my first playthrough... To tell the truth, he kicked more ass. Hit M/O magic before Cain, Just had to give him a few spirit dusts. BTW Abel's my godly Swordmaster in my new Nintendo WFC team.

To obtain a loan character, you must of recruited them and if they died/sacrificed, you cannot loan them. Also, if the loan unti dies, your normal unit dies as well. However, Exp and stats gained go to your unloaned unit. Useful if you want to build a Wi-Fi army.

If you want Marth to pwn, I suggest maxing out his defense and attack. Hopefully you don't need to max out his speed cuz he probably would max out in speed easily. And always equip him with pure water to be resistant to magic.

i fought a hacker who had a cadea with max stats and had infinite move.she swept through my team! and they was all lv20. fortunately cadea was a Pegasus knight and i still had my Frey with max defense and he owned him. nobody is unbeatable you just need good equipment and area abuse charcters. srry for long comment

Sometimes they have the odds completely stacked against you. I fought a person using Imhullu once and fortunately had Starlight with me. Yet I still lost, because they killed Merric and Starlight went with him.

Maybe you didn't get it.

They HACK the game so that they crank their mage/sage's resistance+magic to the max, which is 30 for both I believe.

So it would be kind of hard to beat a unit that has maxed magic defense like that. Your mage would have to have 30 in both stats to have a chance at beating them, and I highly doubt that would be the case.

Actually your logic fails. It is possible to reach lvl 23 AND even higher levels with or without codes. On my fire emblem for the GBA I have a lvl 40 sain without the usage of cheats.

actually your logic fails because the level cap in this game is 20 and only some classes can go to lv.30 and the paladin class cap is 20. either your game hacked or your counting the leveling up at 20 then capping at 20

Try using characters that are at lv. 20/20 (promoted lv. 20). Try to take advantage of stat boosters such as the speedwing or the energy drop.

If you find that a character got only 1 stat increase (such as only getting an extra HP point), then reset your game, and repeat your actions until you get a good level up. This will allow you to get good characters. Also try to anticipate enemy moves.

If most people go straight for the castle, put your characters directly in front of the gate.

Yeah, well this was a match that was recorded rouhgly a month after the game was released. There wasn't much of a metagame developed (Outside of the die hards who imported the Japanese or European versions early). Who is also to say these two are pros? It was a fun little match, and it was more interesting than watching Brave Weapon users have three turn games.
