They announced it on Thurs on their web site, and people could bid on 2 tickets through Ticketmaster auction until Sat morning. Anyone who bid $475 or more for each ticket got to go. I paid $500 for mine. All proceeds went to Haiti relief so it truly was win-win.

It was like that for nearly every song (which is why I often started recording after the song began).  People would see which instruments the band was picking up and yell out the name of the song before the first note was struck. Awesome!
