In Australia some content had to be removed because our government is still paranoid about video game violence - because we dont have an R18+ rating here for games, only MA15+ so if a game is too violent for MS15+ then it doesn't get sold here.

He actually tried to sue the developers of Bioshock for having an advertisement of their game during WWE because kids could be watching it. How ridiculous is that? GTA IV is much more than just about killing cops and prostitutes, it's an option yes but it's not the ultimate goal of the game as is being said by jacko. GTA IV has an imersive story about an ex eastern europern soilder that comes to Liberty City for a better life but gets dragged in to a number of crime syndicates and in order to survive he has to kill.

to be honest, I played gta 4. most boring piece of crap I've ever played doesn't make me want to go kill the people who sold it to me. I had 32 hours of game play clocked up before my first hooker scene and i had a choice kill her to take my cash back or leave her be, both options didn't effect the rest of the game in any way.

In Australia some content had to be removed because our government is still paranoid about video game violence - because we dont have an R18+ rating here for games, only MA15+ so if a game is too violent for MS15+ then it doesn't get sold here.

in the uk if a game is rated by the BBFO (Film syle rating) then a store by law is not alowed to sell to any body below that age but if its a PEGI rating then the store can sell it to who ever they like no matter what the age is as the PEGI raying is only recomended age and its up to the store iof they wanna sell to some one under the age
