Can you do instant inductions without the pretalk?

Yes. I've used the hand-drop induction on people I've met at social gatherings, completely out of the blue, without giving them the slightest hint that I knew anything about hypnosis. Most instant inductions rely on first inducing confusion, and during that moment of confusion, the mind will accept nearly any command.

Add in putting the subject off balance momentarily, all three at the same time, and you can induce a trance in about 2 seconds.

I can hypnotize people using the standard method like, relax back in your chair and focus etc, i've hypnotized tons of people using that method. I have actually only hypnotized one person using an Instant Induction. The rest of the times i have tried instant inductions i have failed. maybe because i was nervous, but, if i use an instant induction, with alot more confidence, do you think it could finally work, i mean like, a few more times not just once? Thank you

@MrEeqqee basicly mate, once youve done it once, your sorted, so if you can get one of your trusted prior hypnotiees, and just tell them your sitiation and im sure they will help you out.

also tell them what you want them to do like for example with magnetic hands, 'when your hands touch your going to go straight back to that place down into that state you have been before.'

also, train a friend and then you can practice on eachother!

a good techneque i learnt when i was starting was one of NLP's best phrases, its what is called a presupposition

say 'which chair would you like to go into hypnosis in this one or that one?'

the second they tell you a chair, they have subconsciously made the descison that 'no matter what i do ill go in'  becasue the question doesnt leave the option that they wont go in if that makes sence! :P
