Shelley is a sick fighter but i think Orr is a bit better... he caught him here but if Shelley didn't avoid fighting Orr in every game after this then he Orr likely would've gotten payback. if they fought 10 times it would probably be 5-5 or 6-4 (in orr's favour). Either way they're probably the 2 best fighters in the NHL right now.

Laraque is retired, Boogaard got beat by Orr in just about all their fights in junior and the AHL (cant speak for Shelley on that one) and Chara is actually a terrible fighter... he's strong but he just wrestles people to the ground in every fight

But Chara still isn't a good fighter... If you put him up against Boogaard, Shelley or Orr I guarantee he would just absorb a few punches then take the guy down. That doesn't make him a good fighter. I watched Belak for years with Toronto and he is definitely not a better fighter than Orr. The only people that can be argued to be better are Boogaard, Stortini and Parros, but Orr beat Parros this season and has beaten Boogaard in their only 2 fights so I wouldn't put them ahead...
