Before Avro RJ-85/100 were released as passenger jets, they were used in military... It's no problem for this plane to land this hard. It's indeed... a very hard landing.
As you can see his rapid decent comes very suddenly just before the runway, and throws the plane literally on the runway, a drink for the suspension manufacturer.
I think that a windshear was the cause. If you see at 0:05, the rate of descent increased suddenly and when the pilot tried to pull up the plane was to late.
Maby the pilot was trying. i thing that he do his best and unfortualy the airplane smashed on the ground. imagine one of you guys trying to land on this conditions and then comment!!
OMG I CANT BELEIVE IT SOME VIDEO TAPED THIS I WAS A PESSENGER SITTING IN 16A worst landing i hit my head on front seat then threw me back in my seat i thought we were going to have a collapsin gear scared me!!
this guy doesn't know how to do a cross wind landing...he got scared and dropped the plane in instead of taking time to ease it down. And he did not know how to kick the rudder straight...so the plane is side loading all the way even on ground. He also pushed the nose down after the bounce ending up with nose hitting the ground. The first principle of bounced landing is NEVER push the nose down. Not of mature landing...
They would have hardly felt it!
