Wow, you carry a Judge??!! That 1911 is MONEY though! I carry a colt commander. I also have a Glock 19, it has to be the most reliable pistol I have ever owned. Did you have to heat that duracoat to get it to finish properly. They used to make a tuff coat for pistols but you had to put it in the oven in order for it to finish. How well does it hold up?

You should look into a G19 archangel holster from One Source Tactical. There are many advantages to appendix carry with better retention and draw speed. The downside is that you're somewhat limited in clothing options, the valid option would be something similar to an "empire waist" or anything that seems to disguise the midsection.

If your going to use your Glock 19 for defense, I highly recommend that you get some Hollow Points for it....Will give you more stopping power unless your just using it for a range gun, then it wouldn't matter...... Ball ammo just pokes a hole through a body like a skewer....enjoy

Good videos and gun collection, but stop please be more aware where your muzzle is sweeping - like your right hand / arm / wrist in front of the barrel.

You have a lot to learn about the holsters (getting a non-duty gear holster, or junk holster), and the ammunition selection (not getting ammunition because it looks cool).

Get a SW J frame 442 or a 642 no lock....you should have one in every collection....Beretta 25 jetfire, and 22 bobcat.....32acp seecamp is a classic mouse gun too....classic to me at least...no offense to any old timers

When you carry a 1911 you always carry it "cocked and locked" meaning that there is a round in the chamber and the hammer is back with the safety on.

Hope you won't mind if I suggest shooting some Federal Personal Defense 4-ball buck alongside the PDX. You may decide that:

1) the larger/heavier Federal buck has a more accurate, slightly wider, more dependable pattern, which is forgiving in a pressure situation, and

2) the bb's behind the PDX's 3 smaller/lighter discs are novel, but entirely unreliable penetrators and essentially "wasted lead".

I've shot a lot of both from the PD & the 6" Judge. I strongly recommend the Federal 4-ball

Between these and the ones from your other video, you have a rather awesome collection going. The audio was low in spots, and I couldn't quite catch which pistol it was you redid. It looks great.

Have you shot your Diamondback? I got one a few weeks ago, and affectionately call it my Jam-o-matic. I figure it will settle down after it's broken in and I find out what kinds of ammo it likes. Good stuff!

Thanks! The pistol I redid was the Tanfoglio GT27. I DuraCoated the slide and frame and also sanded and restained (refinished) the wood grips.

I have shot my Diamondback and haven't had any problems with it. I've been using Magtech ammo. Give it a try...
