yes I have got it figured out now!!! Forgive my English humour. Bit late with your comment but 2years on Yes I quite good at TAngo now. Even danced in the USA last year and had no problems with my followers. Off to LA this April and looking forward to it and a new buch of milogueros. THanks a million for getting back. It really is appreciated no matter where I was at.
I love this. Orillero. I am in a tango de salón class and every follower cannot do a figure without watching my chest,my shoulders etc. It si obvious from this video that the chests of the leader and follower are not parallel all the time. etc. Is it choreographed to dance like this. If not how can the follower know where to go where the leader wants them to go or is it a game of cat and mouse . No one seems to give me a good answer
There are many ways of leading, and many ways of following, and many different levels of understanding that can occur depending on the volume, anatomy, and knowledge of those two bodies. Tango has many branches, but no matter what your style or capability is, "everyone" is looking for a mutual understanding in movement. If the dancers above are doing it, is because they've reached a level of understanding between each other, with those types of movements.
