Most do start with 1A. It is an easier way to get a feeling for yoyo'ing that jumping right into 4A or 5A. Also, don't worry about the naming. It has nothing to do with the difficulty, but rather, that is how they are referenced at large yoyo tournaments so that is what people started calling the styles. Their generally-accepted regular names are: 1A: Regular, 2A: Two-Handed Looping 3A: 2-Handed String Tricks 4A: Off-string 5A: Counter-Weight. They go in the order of invention.
actually ive been yoyoing for about ten months. im not that good but im starting to get better cuz im taking it more seriously and practicing a lot now. ive been 5a-ing ever since i started yoyoing
eh it was ok. Like it really wasn't smooth and it lack flow. There were also way to many 1A elements for 5a and it had some pointless die movements that really didnt make any sence. But sterling is right you've gotte a lot better.
ok in the second trick the slack to mach 5 thing is all 1a elements there really isnt a die release or anthing in that part of the trick. The 2 rejections are kinda pointless to when 1st its not 5a related at all and 2nd its really not a trick, its just removing string out of a mount. Most of the suicides on the end are just left handed suicides from where you moved the die to your non throw hand. If they were done at the same time (the die switching hands and the suicide) it would be cool.
i'm not in a competition, so why judge my tricks that way? if 1A elements happen to be part of my 5A tricks then so be it
as for the suicides, being able to switch the die to your non throw hand so that you can do switch tricks is a 5A element in my opinion
please put your 5A "standards" aside when watching my videos, i am just yoyoing how i yoyo. i'm not trying to live up to any preconcieved notion of how 5A tricks are supposed to be like.
im real glad for you bro DBYY is a GREAT company! haha keep it up your an inpiration to all of us that try to play 5A! hope to be as good as you someday

could you point out specifics?
it would be much more helpful to me than just saying there were too many 1A elements and pointless die movements
thanks,

all i have to say is this:
