I think it was the same producer who worked on No More Words and also Rush Rush by Debbie Harry. They sound similar. IIRC, Blondie band members collaborated with David Diamond on something (time to google). I like both bands. I don't think the album Pleasure Victim sounds like Blondie, except that both bands have keyboards.
Debbie Harry/Blondie was big during the late 70's-early 80's- Berlin/Terri Nunn popular time span was from early 80's - mid-late 80's. I don't know why people are putting both of these female lead singers against each other. Blondie & Berlin have two totally different sounds. Berlin was more popular with the underground new wave scene until the mid 80's .
Can we just enjoy the music and stop going back n forth on who's better...both Deborah Harry and Terri Nun are great. Stop comparing them to each other...frickin drives me crazy when people do that!!!!

I love Berlin but I can't stand producers of these "live" shows that have them lip sync. Obvious lip sync here. Still Berlin is stellar 80's band.
