This is George messing with us. I saw the television clip where he was questioned about why he wrote a song about a woman. He stamered for a moment, said I don't know why and then said I guess it was for my mom. If you listen to the words, this is not a song a person would write about their mom. Great song anyway!! Yes, I remember that song in The A-team. Actually, I`ve known about Boy George and his songs from the episode of 4 season of the series, which I mentioned above. I like his songs. Probably, because they bring back only good memories.
Culture Club's "From Luxury To Heartache" and Go-Go's "Talk Show" are both similarly bittersweet - in each case, the album itself was easily some of the band's best work ever, but at the same time individuals were being consumed by their own personal demons, and thus the band was falling apart as a result.
I've just been thinking how CC and the Go Go's careers paralleled each other. They both shot by like a meteor, burning brightly for a few years and then disappearing. And both have 1 masterpiece album (Colour By Numbers & Beauty and the Beat) a few mediocre albums, and one hurriedly recorded stinker (Waking Up & Vacation.)
Oh and I love it when the woman is opening her robe and George is like "I don't want to see that". Here Here George, I don't want to see that either. Now if Jon opened his robe...I LOVE YOU GEORGE!!!

I was actually reading Boy George's autobiography (Take it Like a Man) and found out he was completely high when he made this video and was surprised it turned out so well. Lol. I love him! I LOVE the A-Team. I was crushed when YouTube axed MPShagen's page with all the episodes. I actually didn't consider myself a crazy fan until I realized I could name most of the episodes people used for music videos...then I knew all was over :)

I LOVE the A-Team. I was crushed when YouTube axed MPShagen's page with all the episodes. I actually didn't consider myself a crazy fan until I realized I could name most of the episodes people used for music videos...then I knew all was over :)

I guess it hasn't been covered because if someone did, they would be afraid of people to think they were gay. But I totally agree! Someone should really do it, because it is a really great song! Some of his very best.
