How can "Chrono Trigger" be ever overrated? It is simply legendary and used all what the SNES had to offer to it utmost limit. Everything that one wants in an RPG is in that game. That doesn't diminish Zelda 3s Epicness in the least ^^

I beat this game every time i went home for christmas for like 5 years, just because its that fun. Then someone broke my SNES when i was away. huge pissoff.

i fell in love with zelda (game not princess) because of this game. and yes, the soundtrack is genius.

There is no doubt. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, is the greatest Zelda game of ALL time.

Those who say Ocarina is better, or even equal, are just praising the graphics and enormous world of Ocarina.

ALTTP is Zelda perfected. You cannot get better than perfection. Which is why all other Zelda games cannot be better than this one.

I would go as far as to say that ALTTP is the greatest GAME of all time. Even better than Chrono Trigger, Super Mario 64, and Final Fantasy VI.
