Snow/Lightning is so much more compelling and interesting than Snow/Serah. Sure, in the beginning he was a boy who needed a girl, but the end he was a man who needed a woman...and Serah was way more girl than woman.

I think Lightning/Snow is kinda wrong. The only reason they even connected is due to their shared love for Serah. If she didn't exist, Lightning would have just went on detesting Snow. She hated him from the moment she met him, even before she found out he was the guy Serah was seeing.
