What is the point of posting a terrible video with poor sound when you can barely make out any of the song. I love AHA take on me and was looking forward to a Ukulele version. I guess I was a little spoiled after seeing all the ones with Ukulele Orch. Of GB. most of their videos are of excellent quality. I was just trying to help the posters not waste peoples time with terrible quality video but thanks for bringing to my attention that I was mistaken and that this is the mother teresa of videos.

No your correct. I should have just kept going and not commented on this poor quality piece of garbage. I had hoped that maybe if I said something they would try harder next time. I love the fact that you cant see the singers because of not only people in way but also the distance but also you get to hear others sing. Kritter I looked at your profile I see you like Ukelele of GB so I see you have seen better quality. Why is this not on your favorites?
Most of the vids of the GB orchestra have been uploaded from their dvd, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Until the Wgtn orchestra releases a dvd (which might be a while considering they've just released their first video clip) I'm afraid you're stuck with this gorgeous piece of kiwiana.
That's awsome to bring the crowd together like that, but I'm sorry; the chatterboxes ruined it for me. They can talk on their own time; they are there for a concert.
I'd happily scream "hey, you with the fat head; STFU!!!"
These concerts are fantastic. Folks arrive in daytime with picnics, blankets and every view of the stage packs out and people spread to nearby bills, formal gardens, benches to hear the show. As the light fades coloured lights light up the trees and gradually change colour. And they're FREEEEE!
Sorry, that'd be nearby Hills. . . this band brings people of all ages/tastes - wide appeal and welcoming, even inviting the public to play ukuleles with them. You'll see Bret McKenzie (of Flight of the Conchords fame) as you watch the Hey Ya clip shot at Caberet, a Wellington club.
AWESOME! After it hits a minute and a bit..and keeps building audience participation; must have been a wild time. If you would like to have been there, then you'd probably be right at home in the Internation Ukulele Alliance over on facebook; check us out (there's cool t-shirts..)
THAT'S AWESOME, do you have a tab for it. I just bought my first Uke, and have only learnt Somewhere Over the Rainbow so far, this would go down a treat at gigs
