  • COOL VERSION! I like it!

Check out mine if you get a chance! :)

    Thanks Kirk

  • Everything about this video is beautiful :D

  • thatis th best thing ever that person dancing makes me happy!!!!!!!!!

  • The audience can sure sing.

  • for more kiwi nostalgia u shd also try da fat freddys at hula lagoona on my vids

    ya mumma it rocks

  • Id just like to point out that I had been drinkng champagne in the afternoon sun and its lucky it turned out as well as it did! :]

from my other vids u can see the quality varies considerably! anyway i can also confirm that yes this is the mother teresa of videos.

  • I wa at that concert, and had an even worse view than these guys.

  • great video

  • Where can I buy there cd's??????

  • such a shame about the poor quality and camera work... thanks for upload though, it's totally cool!

  • bret clement from flight of the conchords is in that :)

  • last name fail.

  • what is it then?

  • bret mckenzie. jemaine's last name is clement. you were so close and yet so far haha.

  • anyone know what the name of the first song is?

  • rofl

  • seriously....does anyone know?

  • Ten Guitars

  • lol 10 guitars NZ's 3rd anthem after the haka

  • This is poorly shod video with poor quality sound. Thanks for posting this but next time invest in better tickets.

  • Where were your seats and where's your video?

  • What is the point of posting a terrible video with poor sound when you can barely make out any of the song. I love AHA take on me and was looking forward to a Ukulele version. I guess I was a little spoiled after seeing all the ones with Ukulele Orch. Of GB. most of their videos are of excellent quality. I was just trying to help the posters not waste peoples time with terrible quality video but thanks for bringing to my attention that I was mistaken and that this is the mother teresa of videos.

  • you weren't trying to help anyone. You were just being a prick.

  • youre an idiot.

  • ROFL...straight to the point. love it!

  • Most of the vids of the GB orchestra have been uploaded from their dvd, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Until the Wgtn orchestra releases a dvd (which might be a while considering they've just released their first video clip) I'm afraid you're stuck with this gorgeous piece of kiwiana.

  • you sir/ma'am, are an absolute clart

  • Whats the name of the first song they play. any1 knows ?

  • 10 guitars

  • That's awsome to bring the crowd together like that, but I'm sorry; the chatterboxes ruined it for me. They can talk on their own time; they are there for a concert.

I'd happily scream "hey, you with the fat head; STFU!!!"

  • Are you in a blimp or something?

  • haha...this is our last song...woohoooo...wait i mean nooooooooooooo!!

  • Too cool!!!Another way to show this song, really diffirent taste from the original one.

  • THIS IS OUR LAST SONG...YAAAAAAA!

  • These concerts are fantastic. Folks arrive in daytime with picnics, blankets and every view of the stage packs out and people spread to nearby bills, formal gardens, benches to hear the show. As the light fades coloured lights light up the trees and gradually change colour. And they're FREEEEE!

  • Sorry, that'd be nearby Hills. . . this band brings people of all ages/tastes - wide appeal and welcoming, even inviting the public to play ukuleles with them. You'll see Bret McKenzie (of Flight of the Conchords fame) as you watch the Hey Ya clip shot at Caberet, a Wellington club.

  • That's really him? I just thought it was some random guy that looked like him...cool.

  • Yep, that's really him! He's put out his own music too under the name The Video Kid. A many of various skills he is.

  • Where is this? At the New Plymoth lights festival or Wellington Botanical Gardens?

  • The Wellington Botanic Gardens, about 250 metres away from my house. :-)

  • welly

  • can someone plz tell me the name of the first song the played ????

  • ten guitars by engelbert humperdinck

  • Thank You!

  • ten guitars

  • My god, this must've been crazy fun!

  • It was, I was there!

  • Sooooo gooooood! soooo very goood!

  • This is awesome! What are the chords that are used?

  • AWESOME! After it hits a minute and a bit..and keeps building audience participation; must have been a wild time. If you would like to have been there, then you'd probably be right at home in the Internation Ukulele Alliance over on facebook; check us out (there's cool t-shirts..)

  • can anyone tell me the name of the song played in the very beginning of this clip? not "take on me"

  • Ten guitars. It's like an unofficial national anthem.

  • THAT'S AWESOME, do you have a tab for it. I just bought my first Uke, and have only learnt Somewhere Over the Rainbow so far, this would go down a treat at gigs

  • aw, this makes me wish I was there. I need to go to New Zealand!

  • AWSOME!

  • Nice work - love those summer concerts. Saw a great Phoenix Foundation one there a few years ago.

  • This is awesome! Wish I could've been there!

  • Fantastic stuff!

  • a-ha rule, well done .

    Han
