  • i can tell you almost everything about him he is my cousin

  • @oneveracityjr ask him why he doesn't demand more playing time

  • James Casey is ok. The Texans beat the Colts.

  • @cowboyslonghorns90 hes stuck behind alot of talented tight ends, the Texans have a roster full of talent at tight end, right now Dreesen is looking great. He would look like a beat on the Saints, who could use a 4rd te if shockey is no longer with the team

  • Damn im glade we got this guy, i think he should be the backup of Owen Daniels!!! This guy is great, GO TEXANS!!!!!!! =)

  • for a te he shure can move

  • James makes us Rice folk proud.

  • who would have thought someone from azle could be so talented!! lol. ya hornets. HA!

  • AZLE RULES :D

  • and he also played baseball... im dead serious i can tell u almost anything about him just ask me !!

  • james casey is my science teachers son in law! if u dont beleive me look it up mrs. henderson

  • this guy is a great athlete!

He goes perfect with a wildcat offense.

Btw does anybody know the qb's name?(#16) and the receivers name also(#81)?

  • chase clement, dillard

  • fuck yeah you go james, graduated with this guy he is a fucking monster, keep it up man ur fucking wrecking out there

  • regardless of age, ive seen him play live in bowl games. when i say this dude is a beast. I knew nothin about him but he murdered everyone on the field.

  • james casey looks like he can play everything lol

and a good thing is hes not overly big

  • Thats a great pick for the Texans especially for the round they got him in

  • yes, best ALL AROUND prospect in the draft, name another guy who can be hb/fb/te/wr and quarterback in the wildcat and was originally recruited to play defense. You have a few guys that can play WR/RB but thats about it, none as versatile as Casey. Maybe that guy Connor Barwin who was a DE/TE and drafted to play OLB, but he never actually played linebacker so nobody knows how he will be at that position.

  • And im not some "kid" who doesnt know anything about the draft or football. Look up the definition of "all around" and the definition of OPINION. There were plenty of draft gurus who were saying James Casey was the best ALL AROUND player in the draft. Does that mean BEST player in the draft? no. Most versatile? probably. If you havent noticed I tend to overrate players that the media underrates, but i feel I gave Casey I gave an accurate description.

  • nevermind, you look like you are 14 in your videos and trolling.

  • oh and keep in mind guys, this kid did or almost (can't remember) got a scholorship for baseball to! there was a writing in the newspaper about him in my hometown cuz he lives so close to me. its in north texas btw

  • this kid went to a school about 60 miles away from me and my bro played aganst him a few years back.

  • i wish miami got him

  • 4:00 is the most ridiculous catch in the NCAA for the 08 season but the game wasnt televised and the game film has the worst angles

  • hes got some drive

  • this kid is so fuckin riduculous man. why he was a 5th rounder is a mystery to me, but he will make his mark

  • mystery is he has NEVER blocked ever, even Tony Gonzalez was criticized early in his career when he couldn't block, he worked his ass off and became a heck of a tight end

  • he has blocked before, theres even one shown at the end of the video. Its just Rice didnt ask him to block much because he was so much of a receiving threat, but when he did block, he did it well. Besides Pettigrew, the rest of the tight ends drafted this year were more of receiving threats than they were blockers, and none of them put up the numbers Casey did

  • agreed

  • last 2 plays were the best.. dude looks like a beast i was pissed when my Texans drafted him cuz we have a pro bowl TE in Owen Daniels but after research he's a SLASH player and can even be used as a short yardage HB to spell Steve Slaton i like this pick alot now.. Lets go Texans!

  • Casey is a beast. 5:03 is one of his best runs in this video. Go Texans !

  • im not a 100% percent on him fitting into our scheme. but i think they r tryin to fill our 2back need. i know we could use him as a weapon none the less

  • It's not hard to fit Casey into any scheme let alone one as flexilbe as ours.

The guy is just as good as a receiving TE as Owen Daniels. So he offers depth, and another reliable target in 2 TE sets, but unlike Owen Daniels he already has H-back skills and skills at alot of other positions.

He's probably also the best wildcat player in this draft behind Pat White, because you can move him around at so many positions I'm sure Kubiak jizzed his pants when he saw him on the board in the 5th

  • stayin in houston baby

  • He could move to safety in the NFL

  • dallas wants him. At this point I think our coaching staff doesn't believe anymore in Romo's long throws. We will have more TE's than WR's, Does it make any sense?

  • Word is they wanna trade Bennett....

  • And from the looks of things, hes pretty much a slot receiver labeled as a TE.

  • Texans all day!! cowgirl fan!! lol we runnin Texas, tha cowgirls jus runnin the drama and yall can have that!

  • yes he can block, i even added a part of the video where he blocks, but i didnt add that many, because nobody wants to see a highlight of blocks, plus, they didnt ask him to block that much, but he can do it when asked. Think Dallas Clark. Wait....Falcons fan...uh no he cant at all, haha im just playing, he can, im a Saints fan. If you guys got James Casey that would be damn right scary. I would not look foward to that. Im already worried about Matt Ryan hehe

  • So yeah as a James Casey fan I would be very happy if he wound up with the Falcons, with a great up and coming QB, a good situation for him. But as a Saints fan I hope you guys sign someone not as talented and we get him, but i doubt wed draft a TE, we have like 7 on the roster right now.

  • Where is Casey projected to go? My Lions haven't had a decent tight end in so long. Linehan could really use this guy. We have two picks in the third round.

  • I saw him live against Vanderbilt. He is the real deal.

  • looks like ed macraffey

  • He looks nothing like eddy Mac. Eddy Mac was a tall outside WR, James Casey is a muscular TE. Huge difference.

  • look a photograph of eddy and james ...

  • I see him as a Dallas Clark type and an asset to any team!

  • Casey is a freakkkkk. He has lined up at TE, WR, and both the QB and RB spots on the shotgun zone read plays. Not to mention he played some defensive end last year AND returned PUNTS this year! Granted, he won't be asked to do all of that in the NFL, but that kind of versatility and willingness HAS to be appealing to NFL franchises, especially early in his career when he may spend some time on special teams. 6'4 250 pounds and runs a 4.7 with that kind of versatility...wow!

  • he is actually pretty good

  • Comment removed

  • Not as good as coffman and petigrew but probably the 3rd best TE coming out.

  • Those three rice players are real good. underrated too

  • He could play any position. Him Dillart, and Clement are the most underated players in this years draft hands down. They all deserve a chance to start at tha next level.

  • thanks im glad you like it, yeah i was thinking of making a Dillard video soon but i figured someone would have made one of him by now but i guess not. so i will have to put it on the to do list.

  • finally got around to making one of dillard, only two games though, one of my hds crashed and im missing some other footage, but some of its against texas which is a good team

  • Nice AFI song.

  • If he was black hed go early 1st round

  • Wow that was a pretty dumb thing 2 say, thats like me saying if i was white i would be the president of the United States. Oh wait a black man is in the white house and this white boy is a great tight end, stop the dumb racist shit and stay on topic sir

  • late first

  • great video of a great player and a great guy. Thank you for putting this together. And yes, he is probably the best overall athlete in this draft. 28 Reps on the bench. Great shuttle time, showed good hands and ran a 4.7 40 at 248 pounds.

  • thanks man, im glad you like them, sucks i wont be able to make on this week, i have 6 history reviews due on tuesday. Oh well still plenty of time until the draft.

  • what's the name of the QB? he is good.

  • Chase Clement, the guys good as hell, people say his arm is weak but ive seen him make some pretty impressive throws. He should be one of the top qbs taken but they will say competition.

  • chris cooley 2.0

  • His stock will rise, but the best all around prospect in the draft?....Please!

  • Yes, hes pretty close to it, a do everything type of player. Can be a TE/FB/WR/HB quarterback in the wildcat, holder for kicks, played pretty much every position on special teams. A freak of an athlete, the only one i can think of that is versatile as him is Percy Harvin while a great athlete and faster has some injury issues and is more of a WR/HB and thats about it. Name a player that than him with that type of versatility.

  • on top of that he was recruited to be a defensive end.

  • He will skyrocket up the draft boards!

  • yeah, i am willing to do it. Do you have footage of him and have a way to get that to me though? because it will be hard to get footage of Syracuse. Also, thats the next thing i am trying to do, is make some highlights of defensive players which is hard, im still figuring how to do it, because the camera usually follows the ball and highlighting what the defensive player is doing leading up to the tackle or play is tricky
