No allen wrenchs, and no real box (other than what it is shipped in) however, there have been several people saying that they are getting manuals now, and if you call up Critical, they are usually nice enough to send along a bit of lube and some spare o-rings if you ask nicely.

I dont see why not. You would need to import it, obviously, but there should be no laws against it.

Yes, it is a better overall gun than the Etek 3. But you should be able to import them just fine, and just pay some toll. I know of many Canadians that import paintball guns.

No, it comes with a standard ASA, the Critical Diet ASA. Still a nice ASA, and it has a purge hole.

If you already have the Etek 3, I would just stick with that. The Quest is a better gun, but to sell the Etek 3 and then buy a Quest would be a bad choice if you ask me, unless you were buying the Quest used. You figure, if you have an Etek 3 LT, you will sell it for around 400. That is a loss of about 75 bucks.

Now, you buy the Quest with that 400, and when you get it, you can bet it will sell for maybe 300. So you have effectively lost 175 dollars. 100 from just the "trade".

Buy an Infinity legend.. They're only 350 brand new on their website!! I've had mine for months and yess it does come with the asa. Anyways , the gun is sweet!

For the extra 50 bucks, the Quest brings a lot to the table, and easily beat out the Legend. The only thing the Legend really has going for it is the board and single moving o-ring.

FEP Quest is the best of those three. However, the Legend will be much easier to keep maintained since the bolt doesnt need any lube at all, and you can put a bit of Hater Sauce on the rammer o-ring every 10,000 shots. It also has no LPR to maintain, and the CP reg on the Legend is pretty easy to work on as well.

That said, the Quest is still the better gun, and for a spoolie, it is very tolerant of lube type and amount, which is a major plus.

Hey please respond anbody my dp g3 iq has problems with the shooting. whenever i shoot the bolt goes forward and it sticks at the forward position and the bolt is starting to get scratches on it. i do have lube on it and im not to sure if the o ring is where its supposed to be in the gun or even if there is an oring there. but please if you have an idea or solution to the problem please respond

Because they are custom. Critical bought up bodies and parts when FEP went under. They then assembled those pieces, and have been selling them. They did not buy up FEP Quest boxes. So, you get an assembled gun, but nothing else. It is a bummer since the Quest box is kind of cool, but hardly a big deal.

In my opinion, the Quest beats the FX in every single respect other than the ASA and board. If the Quest had an On/Off ASA and an OLED board stock, the FX would have nothing on the Quest.

Great video Mike. I was actually selling the Quests locally up here in Vancouver, and was going looking forward to becoming their Canadian distributor until things went 'south' with the company. I couldn't praise the gun enough for its ease of maintainence, reliability, and simplicity.

I had all 3 of mine running their LPRs at 25-30 psi in the Spring/Summer months. In 21 years of playing ball, the Quest is in my Top 5 list of best guns.

Buy one, you wont regret it.

For anyone wondering, yes, that Quest does come with the conical detents in it. I bought one back in early August, and have been more than satisfied with the gun. One of my best buys ever. For all the people asking for him to do a full review on it, that would be awesome, but somewhat uneeded I would say. He has a Quest review, and then a secondary review on the Critical Quest upgrade parts. I dont see why a new review would be warranted.

Find a reputable seller on PBNation and spend the 400 on a used, upgraded Ego 7, DM7, 07 Cyborg etc. You might even be able to find some 08 markers for that price. Any of those will perform much better than anything you can buy new at that price.

Got this too, LOVE IT!!!!!!! Only thing is that when you dry fire, the soft tip on the RFS bolt comes off, happened to me twice and lucky enough to find it (but bolt has Lifetime Warranty). Got the Black Raider LE, bought a Redz On/Off ASA (had to buy shorter screws from Home Depot) just LOVE IT.

@paintballtechpb can you please show or explain more about gun. Such as setting up the gun (dwell, AMB, etc.) Would love to really understand the gun Mike.
