"The more Qassam fire intensifies and the rockets reach a longer range, they will bring upon themselves a bigger 'shoah' because we will use all our might to defend ourselves." - Israel's former deputy defense minister Matan Vilnai
We never really hear about these genocidal threats do we? A major difference is Israel can deliver these threats, whereas Hamas cannot.
Mr. Zimmerman, you could not even follow the rules of being a respectful audience member during a guestspeaker`s talk. I don`t think you are an authority on criticizing a nation for `not following the rules of the UN`.
The idea that Israel is an “apartheid state” is a complete falsity. The Israeli government is looking after the safety of its Jewish population that is targeted by Hamas in Gaza and nearby countries such as Iran, Lebanon, and Syria for anti-Semitic reasons. Threats have been made by the rulers of these regions toward Israel and its Jewish population (and sometimes even the worldwide population of Jews). Israel, like any sovereign nation, is defending itself from such malicious threats.
@Silverwire100 so it's looking out for its security as it expands Jewish-only settlements in the West Bank? Not sure how that's conducive to security.
...I have seen and heard the stories first hand and met wonderful people on BOTH sides. Sadly their voices seemed to get drowned out by those like Coren and his manufactured, self-serving and racist propaganda.
I was raised Jewish and hey, we "self-hating jews" need to stick together and scream louder! Let me know if there is anything I can do.
@laurjess88 "The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).
“The Palestinian-Israeli conflict represents the focal point of the larger confrontation of the Muslim world against the non- Muslim world. Israel may be the frontline enemy, but beyond the Mediterranean and the ocean is the non-Muslim world that Muslims believe they need to conquer for Islam. In the process, Palestinians have been sacrificed and kept hostage as the frontline of Arab jihad.”
Nonie Darwish, former Gazan and daughter of a terrorist against Israel
Perhaps a second look at your username is in order. To imply that all Muslims or all Arabs are extremists who wish to annihilate anyone and everyone else is beyond simplistic and racist. In other words: "theres more to it."
@laurjess88 Moderate Muslims are also speaking up against their extremists.
"Palestinian leaders seem to be interested in proving their “merit” by destroying Israel than in gaining a better life for their people."Tawfik Hamid Islamic Reformer & former terrorist

I am a Muslim and spent a large part of my childhood in Saudi Arabia – something which, in the eyes of many Muslims, means I should automatically defend the "Palestinian struggle".
This is absurd and such support invariably means overlooking the vicious crimes being perpetrated by Hamas – against the Jews and, increasingly, its own population too.
Thanks for speaking up Jesse! We need more logical and coherent voices like yours. The very fact that Coren won't agree to an intelligent debate speaks to the fact that he is clearly intimidated by you. Notice how many of the insults and spam posted here are nothing more than simple verbal diarrhea. Again, these people don't have an intelligent arguement so they resort to childish attacks. I too have spent time living inside two West Bank refugee camps...
Thank you for your voice, it is much needed. Having been to the West Bank and Gaza and having seen the terrible situation that the immoral Zionist blockade has imposed upon the Palestinians, it is beyond my understanding how any Jew would support such policies. Judaism is love, compassion and respect for the property, dignity and life of the Other. Zionism is not Judaism.
@AngryJewess I and my friends have been called "anti-Semitic" for saying just that. It's absurd. We have to put these xenophobic apologists on the fringes where they belong.
@AngryJewess Judaism is love, compassion and respect for the property, dignity and life of others. Really? Do you have a passage to quote or are you just stating things that you think are nice? I mean, look I think those are some nice things you mention but not necessarily the tennants of judaism. The situation is very complex and goes far beyond the simplicity of individualized policies. I am capable of understanding your position, are you really so incapable of understanding mine?
"Identifying the objection expressed by global public opinion to the occupation policy as anti-Semitic is simplistic, provincial and artificial. Experience shows that this global trend won't change until we normalize our relations with the Palestinians." - Ilan Baruch, former Israeli diplomat (quit earlier this month)
creative, i gotta get back to you in the next few days in detail. I've got to go to bed soon, had a long day and I've got to work on essays tomorrow. If I haven't answered in a week or so post a reminder k? I am happy to answer but it will be long-winded as all of my answers are....maybe I can make a video on it, not sure. :P
anyway, you can answer the initial question. I just find it funny how Canadian leftist kids who are anti-everything, never seem to tackle the core issues in their own land..
@CREATIVE3 ? I answered the question below. "Never seem to tackle the core issues in their own land" Well, if you look at some of my other videos I am dealing with Toronto and/or Canada issues. I don't really see why I should be limited to local issues though if I chose to be more cosmopolitan?
@CREATIVE3 And in Nelson Mandela's eyes, Jimmy Carter's eyes, Ehud Barak's eyes, etc etc. Did you not hear the quotes that I repeated in the video? I think particularly Barak's statement explains it.
I mean, It doesn't change the fact that it is NOT apartheid, but have some sympathy. If this was a Palestinian family you would be in uproar about it. But it's a Jewish family, so you mention nothing. Shocking.
@jmzimmerman1984 wanted to hear something better than that it's just apartheid. The fact that it's very disputable sort of leaves many to believe that it actually is not and that many folks who use this term are doing it for more publicity rather than good dialogue, but please prove us wrong and state why it is apartheid..
@jmzimmerman1984 can you expand on these general statements. Furthermore, who are we as Canadians to be so critical of middle eastern affairs when we are living on genocidal territory. Do you know that Canada has not approved the definition of genocide based on the U.N.'s definition of it.. do you want to know why that is? because Canada committed genocide on the indegenous native population. Where are they to be seen now? How many natives do you know that live amongst you? anyway..
Henry Siegman, former director of American Jewish Congress (and a recipient of Bronze Star and Purple Heart), has stated that Israel has "crossed the threshold from "the only Democracy in the Middle East" to the only Apartheid regime in the Western world
Wouldn't be nice if you could get all the hate filled pro-israelis and put them in a room with their hate filled pro-palestinian counterparts so we could watch the fireworks. The best part is that the next day the decent Israelis and Palestinians striving for peace could get on with their lives...
AstralProjection, the reason why the personal attacks and slander is coming forth is precisely because I am telling the truth and they can't dispute that.
@Astralprojection23 None of these haters will dispute what i say. They want to look at old footage of me that is out of context with the audio tampered and draw conclusions. They want to tell me I am apparently intolerant while they make racist comments towards Arabs and Muslims, and homophobic comments towards LGBT people. @TheBrapoport This displays the true bankruptcy of the right-wing Zionist: ready to accuse someone of racims against Jews, yet clearly is against Arabs, Muslims, gays and trans people. Complete and utter hypocrisy.
