hey brother can u help me in configuring my karmic kaola 9.10 proxy setting.???

i got the probluem that although my wired net is connected and i can surf and download via brower...

but i cant use snyptic package, update manager, and sudo apt-get instal etc etc....

on terminal line its show message that proxy authentication is required though i have already configured ip port and authentication in my network proxy, network connection :((

if u knew any solution of this kindly help me
