I wished there were 4 main characters... Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield... they are the main heros to me and i think it would be very nice if they could all be together in the main history... just to honor the old times of the RE =)

Personally, I don't care which one of them it is (or if it's someone completely new), but from a common sense standpoint, having the President's daughter running around in a global biohazard event just doesn't fit. RE6 looks like it's going to be a badasstacular game.

RE6 should be Billy Ceon and Rebecca Chambers again we never knew what happen to billy after RE0 and Rebecca was last seen with Chris and the remaining stars team going to europe but most likely it's going to be Leon and Claire because ada & steve can connect to each others story line
It's got to be Claire, first and foremost. She hasn't had a proper appearance since Code Veronica (aside from the CG movie Degeneration). But as well as Claire it should feature Chris, Jill Barry and Rebecca.
There is evidence that it won't be Chris due to his appearance in the last installment and now in Revelations; Leon being the main focus of Operation: Raccoon City also may be reason enough it won't be him either. Personally I would LOVE to see a Rebecca (way overdue) and Claire team-up. I think it would be awesome to have a female-duo this time around. If Capcom was worried that a predominantly female cast would detract male consumers, they could just put them in revealing clothing.
I also wanna see Excella agian(when she mutated into uroburos Ahrei, it provided as a cacoon insted of killing her, causing urburos to adapt into her DNA) and HUNK

In order to be truly epic this game needs to have Chris, Jill, Leon and Claire as the main protagonists.
Ada, Barry and Rebecca need to return for support and the Sherry plotline needs to be sorted.
The Alex Wesker plot needs to be explored. And Nicholai should return. Let's wait and see which plotlines Revelations solves and what new ones it creates.
And for other characters such as Carlos, Steve and Billy well it would be nice to know if they are at least still alive, Steve especially.
I think the 6th one needs to focus on Leon and Ada. We still have almost no idea who. or what, Ada is working for. What exactly is "The Organization?" And besides, I honestly think Leon and Ada have the most interesting relationship. Whenever she appeared in Resident Evil 4, you felt safe, yet suspicious at the same time. It would be most reasonable to have them as the main characters. Chris, Jill, and Claire's stories are pretty much answered. Ada & Leon need tying up.

I honestly think that Billy Coen should be the main character in Resident Evil 6 because we've seen all of the other characters play their part a few times already. Not only that, but some are dead like Wesker (who is not a main character btw) lol and Steve Burnside. Everyone's only seen Billy one time and that was in Zero. He should be given the main part in Resident Evil 6. Besides, he's still alive.
@zombiex21x I don't think he's dead either. slow down a video of Wesker being shot at by the rocket launchers. It looks like both rockets pass right by his head on either side. No head explodey, no blood splay, and they blow up in the lava behind him. If he could come up from being submerged in lava, I don't think 2 rockets missing his face would kill him either.

Well the heavy rumors indicate the characters are going to be Leon and Jill which would be interesting and a first in the Resident Evil franchise. Though the prospects of playing as Rebecca Chambers and Ashley Graham are probably just as likely.

Im sure its gonna be Leon. Theres a pattern going on in the numbered titles Cris/Jill, Leon, Chris/Jill, Leon, Chris/Jill. In the first game, you could either be Chris or Jill lets count both of them as story 'A'. Story A takes place around what chris and Jill have done following the mansion incident. Then comes Leon, story B, branches into his own stories, that still twine with the series. RE - Chris/ Jill RE2 - Leon RE3 - Jill RE4 - Leon RE5 - Chris RE6 - Leon going by that pattern RE7 - Jill

Capcom said that CV is the real RE3 so that's why it's a main game. Just because it doesn't have a number doesn't mean it isn't a main game. Call of Duty: World at War is a main game and it doesn't have a number. Same for Halo: Reach.

And for other characters such as Carlos, Steve and Billy well it would be nice to know if they are at least still alive, Steve especially.

I think the 6th one needs to focus on Leon and Ada. We still have almost no idea who. or what, Ada is working for. What exactly is "The Organization?" And besides, I honestly think Leon and Ada have the most interesting relationship. Whenever she appeared in Resident Evil 4, you felt safe, yet suspicious at the same time. It would be most reasonable to have them as the main characters. Chris, Jill, and Claire's stories are pretty much answered. Ada & Leon need tying up.

I honestly think that Billy Coen should be the main character in Resident Evil 6 because we've seen all of the other characters play their part a few times already. Not only that, but some are dead like Wesker (who is not a main character btw) lol and Steve Burnside. Everyone's only seen Billy one time and that was in Zero. He should be given the main part in Resident Evil 6. Besides, he's still alive.

@zombiex21x I don't think he's dead either. slow down a video of Wesker being shot at by the rocket launchers. It looks like both rockets pass right by his head on either side. No head explodey, no blood splay, and they blow up in the lava behind him. If he could come up from being submerged in lava, I don't think 2 rockets missing his face would kill him either.

Well the heavy rumors indicate the characters are going to be Leon and Jill which would be interesting and a first in the Resident Evil franchise. Though the prospects of playing as Rebecca Chambers and Ashley Graham are probably just as likely.

Weskers had worse when he was still human, and had a double shot of the same juice that made him what he was to begin with... And Steve Burnside was CONFIRMED dead in CV
Its still RUMORED Jill and Leon will be playable, but whereever Leon is Ada will be surely close by... As always...
But as for the team I wouldn't mind seeing... Chambers and Olivera, or a New Guy altogether... Rebecca has shown she can do the same "Job" as Jill and Carlos can still mess things up and provide comedic releif!

I.e. kinda like RE3...I want Claire soooooo bad. As well as returning in Degeneration. Yes, she IS a main character! Billy is a main character in RE0, Ada is in RE4 because she's playable and has her own story. As is Sheva in RE5. You're the one that's not getting it. The primary 4 are Chris, Jill, Claire and Leon. No pattern.

@MAndersonReviews You clearly do not know much about RE. Code Veronica IS NOT a spinoff. Degeneration is an official movie to the games. And regardless, there's still NO PATTERN in the numbered games. Ada is a main character, because part of RE4's story is about her. Krauser is not playable in the story. Claire is a main character to the story, because RE: Code Veronica is a main game. No Pattern. And even if there was, it would be unintended, and you couldn't predict the characters from it.

Capcom said that CV is the real RE3 so that's why it's a main game. Just because it doesn't have a number doesn't mean it isn't a main game. Call of Duty: World at War is a main game and it doesn't have a number. Same for Halo: Reach.
