Sasquatch, do you have anything to back up your notion that the female is Hermione Gingold? I grew up thinking it was Yvonne Decarlo but never had any absolute proof. Do you?
Mostly circumstantial evidence but if you search for her on YouTube you'll recognize the voice. She worked with Backus before, she sounds nothing like Phyllis Diller, DeCarlo was a very serious star in 1958 and there is no record of her doing the voice. Lastly, there are numerous references to Hermione doing the voice. Try a search.

This is most certainly not Hermione Gingold; it sounds nothing at all like her. I can't confirm it's DeCarlo, but that would make more sense.

The lady on the record is Hermione Gingold the English actress. She was in The Music Man and Bell, Book & Candle among many other movies. Delicious.
