@Captain8Bit totally. If you can, try to anticipate their trajectory so you can get ahead of them in the hunt. There's nothing I hate more than picking behind someone who's on the same mission. Best to avoid detection and get in front. That way THEY get sloppy seconds.

Never knew Comix Zone came out for the PC. Nice lot of FF games. Got enough Star Wars shit? That Thundercats toy is a blast from the past. Those Voltron figs were tanks. You basically have a smörgåsbord of games and figs there. A buffet. Excellent vid, bud.

@Gamester81 Thanks John! Yeah, I'll sell things from time to time, but I always make sure it's for a bargain if I got it for a bargain. I'd rather pass it forward than make a profit in all honesty. Resellers that gouge prices just ruin the hobby for late comers and future enthusiasts. It's about the memories and preserving the feelings they give us... not about the money. It's a shame that some just can't see that.

it's gotten pretty bad here. Resellers running amock everywhere. I'm even seeing "father and son wanting to play old games together and wanting to buy them" -yup, they'll buy them and flip them.

The Thrift stores here have gotten pretty bad too, $35.00 dollar FF 7 green labels, $30.00 Final Fantasy 1 for NES cart.

and the flea market is a joke with resellers wanting to buy old Nintendo games, paying cash today!! and they have their $35 dollar Mario Kart 64, $30 Mario 64 cart, ughhh!!!

@randygelion I have no mercy for resellers. I flag them, spam them and harass them when they overprice their items. They deserve what they get. You can easily make an honest living by selling games, but marking things up by over 1,000% is reprehensible in my opinion. If I see a $35 Mario Kart I'll arrange for a meeting w/ the seller and stand them up. If they're dumb enough, I'll do it 3-4 times. They deserve it.

It has been a while but well worth it and when it comes to picking I can say a few things which I found for a fraction of what I paid for example: Picking up E.T for £3 despite its fame in history and yar's revenge for the same price despite my local place charging £15 for each. Good to have you back! I gave up on videos as well, but for other reasons. A couple weeks ago my CPU's power supply fried as well. Had the computer for 4 years and kaboom, it just wouldn't turn on anymore. Took it to a shop and it was detirmined that the power supply I had in my CPU was super rare and is not made anymore, so it would cost too much to get fixed. Retro hunting is always one of my faviourte things to do when I travel/visit new citys.

Some of the most awesome stuff is found at the most unlikely places. Grabbed about 30 Genesis games for 10 bucks over the summer from some old guy who was mostly selling tomatoes.
