I think you'll find he didn't, you don't get to be where he is and make mistakes like tht, if he did he could have re-recorded it, it's on youtube for every1 who wants to learn katas to be able to learn from a perfect kata, he meant to step to the side
im white belt (going for yellow tomorrow YaY) and just by watching my friend do it i already know the first things better then this other blue belt person i know
i do not agree if you look at Sensei performing his kata picture him fighting someone then you will see that a five year old can do it but not as well! and there is a challenge the one you put to yourself!
I am taking my Dan Grade in November and I love watching these videos!:D

Yes, this hapens in most of wado ryu katas, you must step a little to the side at the end.

In our Dojo, this is a green belt Kata. I'm learning it now. Thanks for the posting. It looks very good and easy to see and understand.
