New Yugioh series ZEXAL??? & my thoughts on the Yugioh series thus far& ZEXAL...

I honestly, just got into the Yu-Gi-Oh series and such. And from what I've read below, 5Ds seems like the best. I have an urge to skip GX but, I think it's worth the wait. From what I've watched of Yu-Gi-Oh so far and looking at Zexal...Zexal doesn't really look interesting. Honestly, I'll watch it but, card games in space (as I've heard)...can't wait to see that.

I actually believe zexal will be a good series. The reason I believe this is because every other yugioh series has brought something new to the table like gx had all of the cool decks like the e-hero deck and it had great duels and 5ds had turbo duels and synchro monsters and this one has exess summoning and mosters and for all the people who say it's gonna be too complicated you will probably find out it's easier than you think so even if you don't like the idea of it you must still give it a

zexal is way too kiddy for me, i liked gx cuz i was in high school and went threw high school with it, and i liked 5ds cuz it was when i got out& pretty much the same as my life, living in hell, and tryin to get out& got out thanx to some friends.

i think that 5D's was really good because of it's many strong themes like: discrimination, being different, friendship, loyalty, rich vs. poor, etc....

which is one of the reasons why it was aimed for an older audience......

I'm looking forward to this series I just wish the protagonist wasn't so young. That's what I liked about 5D's Yusei was like 17 and mature hopefully the protagonist will be like Judai and mature throughout the series

Yeah agreed with pretty much everything you said. The whole "Oh no they are on Motobikes it's shit" was just stupid. 5D's is the best anime series and to see it is being replaced with GX2 I'm sorry Zexal is just annoying, it looks like Beyblade with Duel Masters. Both animes I hated, the childish looks of the characters don't help the cause. 5D's needed more to it, there was a lot still left unanswered. It is a real shame, goodbye YGO 5D's it is really sad to see you replaced with this shit!

@DarkZelgadis01 Agreed with everything you wrote. I pray that the writers come back and give more seasons for 5ds. It was the best series ever. The writers could have done so much more with the show, like have a season devoted entirely to Psychics and Psychic dueling. Watch Zexal stink so horribly that the writers have to bring back 5ds. I will laugh so hard XD

It was the best!!!!!! P.S. I curse you Takahashi and Yoshida for abandoning 5ds and going to this Zexal trash. I cannot wait to see what LK does with this new series in the Abridged Series.

@starsandroses91 i havent been on janime in forever lol i hope my lil hope for it being a side series for the lil kids, while 5D's continues, is true, thatd be alot better, & hey maybe wed get some good packs in the card game again, instead of a bunch of worthless archetypes that take no skill >.>

@vizardvolroc ok, LK is awesome! According to a lot of sites, 5ds is going to end in March (yet again, I curse you Takahashi and Yoshida). The new series is supposed to be previewed when the Yugioh movie is rereleased in Japan for a select audience. How twill hat select audience respond to Zexal? What if they hate it? Will that stop the show from airing? Since this series is supposed to take place before 5ds, does that mean 5ds can come back with a continuation series? I pray it does.

@starsandroses91 i dunno mate, but usually when previewing a series, its the audiences reaction that dictates whether it airs or not, some shows have a great pilot show,but once on TV lose their target audience, while others have god awful pilots& gain it once on the air. its rather flippy floppy, but hopefully 5D's at least ends with a bang :)

@vizardvolroc I would not be surprised at all if 5ds ended with major plot holes. It already has major plot holes (like where the heck is that gold dragon?????). Just watch this awesome series end with plot holes that demand a couple extra seasons and they never get resolved. The writers just want to mess with my mind.

even though i think the gold dragon is power tool dragon just reincarnated, which would explain why the "machine" is capable of caring about its owner :)

they should add 1more season,which im hoping happens since March is 3.5months away& this season is almost finished, i doubt more than 5episodes left, which leaves at least 10episodes left :D
