Just checkup on the battle of France, especially on the memoires of Manstein or Heinz Guderians, how Hitlers jitters bungeled up the total defeat of the British at Dunkirk. Any success Hitler had was pure luck as he knew little of military leadership, and certainly nothing about large scale operations. He just lived in his little dream world and had a hard time coping with reality.

@Sungkawa Japan had to get natural resources like oil for its fragile industry and because of this they had to invade dutch regions in indoneisa, they feared that US would get involved with this attack. It was MAINLY about resources, not for honour. It was really stupid since the US citizens probably wouldn't have allowed a war if they weren't directly attacked.
The mistake was odd consider what was at risk.

@Sungkawa Even though certain symbols are ancient, when they are combined with nationalist thoughts, that is a sure way to get yourself arrested where I live. Yes I know some symbols are very old. There is a mosaik floor from the romans displayed in Cologne which is full with swastikas, no one associates that with the NSDAP but when that symbol is on a red flag there is no talking your way out of that. Some symbols have been so spoiled in 12 years that they will be very touchy for a long time!

You got that wrong skinheads are very closely associated with the NPD and other nationalist organisations. In their view anything that is foreigne or non German is not worth existance. Your example with Erwin Rommel is not good as he was forced to take his life for standing up against the nazis. You are mixing up military officers and party officials, those are two differant pairs of shoes. If in doubt get a German copy of "Mein Kampf" there is a detailed view of Asia, which is often dropped.

and one might think the South African version would be more accurate to the British version due to there views !
