  • Thanks Criss999...twas the only time, I could walk out my front door & head 2 blocks east...to see the Stones perform!

  • Prefer Darryl Jones's bass playing over Wyman's.

  • Bumped into Woody at a Toots and the Maytals gig in London a month or so back, he was in great form, really enjoying the show laughing and joking with us...

  • Woody is really carrying Keef. Keith isn't even singing the high part in the verses. '''What a drag..Even Mick is carrying him. Why is he playing rhythm Guitar? I thought Keith Richard did that...

  • Man!! Where is the pocket in this tune??? gotta say, these guys certainly know the old school blues inside and out but this version is really not good. Might be that they cant hear each other all that well but then again were talking about a group that plays stadiums all the time. A club date should be a no brainer....just sayin.

  • @kneely525 I hear it too. Watts may be drumming too stiffly (with no swing?) but the guitars still want to swing and there's a conflict. But there's tension and not in a good way.

  • Mick Jagger playing guitar! priceless

  • Wished they could make such fine music these days..

  • One of the many things I like about this performance is that Jagger isn't roving around the stage like a chicken with his head cut off. He's much better when he stays put playing acoustic rhythm guitar.

  • One of the best nights of my life!

  • This must have been the *last time* they played it before Bittersweet Symphony came out. Sounds nothing like it either...

  • THIS IS THE BEST EVER !!!

  • This sounds NOTHING LIKE BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY BY THE VERVE

  • @xNeXusxNinja

Head over to the Andrew Oldham orchestra version which the Verve used, you'll see the development

    watch?v=MKC5cdGBY04

  • what a great version, sounds very similar to the one in the No Security album

  • backup vocals suck....nonexistant,,, there really is a constant 2nd vocal!

  • Fucking nice bar music...in the pub.

  • this is a great treasure!

  • This is rather good!!

  • Jagger looks irritated with Darryl Jones beginning at :45. Why? Something to do with where Jones is positioned in relation to Richards's mike?

  • sorry. i meant 2/4.

  • Charlie Watts is so cool.

  • Charlie is playing a straight rock and roll beat as opposed to the 3/4 swing of the studio. Sounds great. Tight. Jagger sounds good too, but he was saving himself for the Soldier Field shows a couple of nights later.

  • Pure funk!

  • I see Bernard in the back!

  • little stage...

they look like a indie band play in this place

  • THE BEST version of Last Time I have ever heard or seen. THANKS Man!

  • @appletininao

Then you must be disabled! What a shit version. In the dustbin with this rubbish!

  • @appletininao They took an already great song and made it even better!

  • If you want him to sound like the record. Go buy the fucking record. This LIVE man!

  • KEITH RICHARDS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can't jagger ever sing like the original recording always sounds like shit

  • @MOSKII58

he's singing in a slightly different register, a different harmonic - its the sort of thing that keeps musicians interested in their own music, it shows that music is a living thing, go and listen to the studio version if you dont like it

  • The Rolling Stones will be doing their final world tour in 2011 and this time will be "The Last Time" Charlie Watts will turn 70.

  • super video

  • NEVA!

  • I saw them at Soldier's Field/Chicago, IL then, didn't know they did this

'secret double door gig' - so.....was it a blues bar? Very cool, and one

of their best shows I've ever seen (since 75). Thanks for the upload!

  • Just bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • esos cuerpos piden tierra XDDDDDDDDDDD

  • @pumaomar2 e o seu pede pau!

  • Every time they tour I always think the encore should be "The Last Time"

We never know it could be the last time. I seen the stones in concert in 1981,1989,2002 and 2005.

  • Hey I finally learned how to play the lead riff properly!

  • Ronnie actually looks and sounds fully enaged on this

  • perfect garage band... :)

  • they all are stoned i think....lol

  • Tempo's just a bit too slow. It's arguably my favorite 'Stones song.
