Take it easy man. You start with good notes but you're being too intense (for this back track anyways) and you go on to licks that just don't sound good.

As the owner of a 1984 strat (lefty also) , I'm pretty damn sure they didn't start making them in Japan until 1985. I use an ibanez tube screamer too by the way, good choice.

@psychomaji Playing it this way reverses the tone: The highest strings becomes the mellow one instead while the lowest string becomes bright. This is the way hendrix played his strats too (: except he was a lefty and he played on right handed guitars.
