I got to meet him in Oslo in Feb. of 1987.I was there with my hubby for a winter sports event and met Knut at a dinner.Knut was very nice and we talked about Eric Heiden as I had met him at a bike race in Calif in June of 1980.Eric later moved to Calif.then he moved to the Salt Lake City area.
